for those who are very punctual, LO for those who have a lot of patience.
 Successfully held a MT training in which the participants have an average increase in
comprehension test score by 125%.

Motivasi saya ingin mengikuti penelitian petromagnetik adalah saya ingin

mengembangkan penelitian DTG ITS ke arah yang lebih baik. Selama ini, mahasiswa DTG
lebih condong ke arah penelitian akuisisi data di lapangan (seismic, geolistrik) dengan
pengolahan data yang sangat kompleks. Masih cukup sedikit mahasiswa DTG yang
menggunakan topik petrofisika yang bisa dikerjakan hanya dengan pemodelan dan analisis
laboratorium dari sampel yang diambil. sebagai tugas akhir. Padahal, pada dunia kerja
geofisika, petrofisika bisa digunakan di hampir segala bidang (oil and gas, geothermal).
Topik petromagnetik pun cukup jarang dibahas. Yang lebih sering terlihat adalah
perhitungan saturasi. Saya sendiri juga tertarik pada bidang fisika batuan sejak semester 3
sehingga saya mengikuti training petrophysics dan well log di luar kelas. Harapannya,
dengan mempublikasikan paper tentang petromagnetik, saya dapat membantu DTG ITS
untuk mengubah stigma bahwa penelitian geofisika haruslah dengan alat-alat berat dan
data processing yang memakan waktu lama.
