2019 Taiwania Ultra Trail – Overseas Entry Race Fact Sheet

The runners will run along the forest road into the largest Divine Trees Garden Cilan Forest in
Asia. This internationally famous garden is the most valuable forest asset in Taiwan. The race

Over 20s only, and complete any of the following conditions of the participated
54K: Finish 50K within 7H or full marathon within 6H.

1. Finish 100K within 14H, 50K within 7H or full marathon within 6H.
2. Done any ITRA over 40km trail races.
Eligibility: 3. The eligibility must be verified by the organizing committee.
4. Eligibility examination as below:
(1). The certificate must be the races after 2013.
(2). Email the certificate to following email a0922502655@gmail.com ; with the subject:
“Taiwania Trail Race + your name”.
(3). After verify by the OC, you would receive a serial number for the 100K group sign up.

Baggage and Equipment
1. Overseas Runner Check-in: the Service Tent at Mingchih Resort Venue.
2. The timing IC B-Tag will be stocked on the back of the bib. Number tag. Please check it
before the race starts and keep it there during the race. Notice: https://goo.gl/FhwN4D
3. Baggage deposit starts form 03:00 2019/3/2. Participants may claim their deposit with the
bib until 30 mins after the race ends. (The OC is not responsible for the loss of valuables.)
4. It may rain in the mountain area. A waterproof jacket is recommended.
5. A headlamp is extremely required for 100K, and should be more careful while running.
6. 100K participants required lamp, waterproof jacket and emergency blanket;
54K participants required waterproof jacket and emergency blanket.
Runner Equipment Checked will be at 2019/3/1 15:00-18:00, and 2019/3/2 gathering at the
starting venue. Those who don’t have this equipment will be disqualified.
Aid
1. Aid stations are set every 8-13KM, provides all-in-one energy drinks, cookies and fruits.
2. Hot food station: There 1 for 54K group and 2 for 100K group. Cookout during the race is

Guidelines 3. Participants should consider their own health condition, and bring their own food supplies.
Must carry their own garbage throughout the whole race (fruit peel, tissue paper etc.) or
throw it in the rubbish bin near the aid station.
4. NO cup provided. Participants need to carry their own cups or water bags.
Rear Bus
1. There is no rear bus for 54K group.
2. The rear buses for 100K group: From the Park Entrance set an 11 hrs cut-off time (2019/3/2
PM16:00) and the Trail Entrance set a 13 hrs cut-off time (2019/3/2 PM18:00; Star to pick
up participants along the forest route at 17:00). The organizer will pick up participants who
left behind on the road from 19:00 to 20:00.
Route and Environment
1. NO traffic controls along the route. Participants must follow the instruction of the staff and
the public traffic rules during the race.
2. Instead of running, competitors must pass the three bridges in the park by walking, and
mind the maximum capacity.
3. Whistle is prohibited. Participants should keep the voice down during the race, be
respectful and do not disturb the wild animals along the route.
4. It’s forbidden to use alpenstock, spikes or any similar tools that may damage route surface.

5. Please notice that participants should not leave the route way.
Reward
1. First fifteen male and first ten female finishers will receive a prize.
2. First twenty male and first fifteen female finishers will receive a prize.
3. All participants who finish within the time limit would receive a wooden medal
