The acquisition of communicative competence in at least one foreign language, in this case English, the language of international use, is considered a necessity in the integral formation of the child. For this reason, the process of teaching and learning this language should be part of the study programs of Venezuelan Primary Education, an object of response to the demands of a holistic education with the demands posed by globalization and progress technological of today's society. The education of the 21st century imposes a wide and constant opening to other countries, cultures and ways of life. That is why we recognize the need to start learning English as the global language from Primary for the cognitive, affective and evaluative development of children in this stage. As proposed in this essay, the playful activities facilitate the significant learning of LE in Primary children who have more chance of acquiring the pronunciation and fluency of the native, through play situations that involve language with their psychomotor development. The research cites (Figueroa 1999, Hearn and Garcés 2003, Guerra 2004, Ashworth and Wakefield 2005, Linse 2005, Snarki 2005, Hines 2005, Kang 2006, Shindler 2006, Alcedo 2006) show the favorable impact of play activities as a pedagogical approach and motivator of significant LE learning in primary school children. To conclude, it is important to insist that the specialist teacher should consider the child's evolutionary process and the psycholinguistic techniques that underpin his cognitive and socio-affective development in a holistic vision that allows him to plan the learning activities according to the context and the biopsychosocial needs of the boy and the girl of this stage.
