Gao Jianwei

Gao Jianwei, male, was born in December 1972 of Han nationality. He graduated
from Beihang University, with a doctor’s degree of management in management
science and engineering in April 2003. He is now professor and PhD student
supervisor at the School of Economy and Management, North China Electric Power
University, and one of the New Century Excellent Talents assessed by the Ministry
of Education.

Professor Gao directs his research at financial engineering, risk management


approach for energy and power engineering, and management science theory and
application. In recent years, he has undertaken 13 scientific research projects in the
financial engineering field, including 3 projects funded by the National Natural
Science Foundation of China, and 7 provincial and ministerial projects sponsored by
the New Century Excellent Talents Support Program of the Ministry of Education,
Beijing Natural Science Foundation, Foundation for the Human Culture and Social
Science of the Ministry of Education and Program for Excellent Talents in Beijing.

Professor Gao has published 1 monograph through the Science Press and more than
60 papers in important Chinese and foreign journals, with 16 collected by SCI and
SSCI and 28 by EI. In terms of adjunct research positions, he is a guest commentator
for Mathematical Review (of the United States), an editorial board member of the
journal Finance and Insure, communications and assessment expert for the National
Natural Science Foundation of China, and review expert for 8 international scientific
journals including European Journal of Operational Research and Insurance:
Mathematics and Economics.

He Yongxiu

He Yongxiu, female, was born in January 1970 in Hubei Province and of Han
nationality. She is now professor and PhD student supervisor at the School of
Economy and Management, North China Electric Power University. From February
2002 to March 2003, she did visiting research in the University of Manchester of the
United Kingdom.

Dedicated to teaching and research in economic management of electrical energy,


she has delivered lectures on Management Economics, Operation and Management
of Power Company, Introduction to Electricity Market, Electricity Market Trade
Theory and Practice and Comprehensive Assessment Approaches for undergraduates
and postgraduates. She has carried out projects supported by the National Natural
Science Foundation of China, National Social Science Foundation of China,
National Energy Administration, Foundation for the Human Culture and Social
Science of the Ministry of Education, Youth Science and Technology Innovation
Program of the Chinese Society for Electrical Engineering, Committee of Energy
and Water Resource, Price Association of China, Foreign Teacher Support Program
for Universities and Colleges Directly under the Ministry of Education, Scientific
Research Starting Foundation for the Returned Overseas Chinese Scholars, the
Ministry of Education, Fundamental Research Funds for the Central Universities,
and many horizontal projects of enterprises.

For her remarkable achievements in research, she has been awarded with the “Xue
Muqiao Price Research Award” once, “Second Prize for the National Commercial
Science and Technology Progress Award” once, Third Prize for the Science and
Technology Achievement Award of the State Grid Corporation of China once, and
Excellent Achievement Award of the Price Association of China for Price
Investigation once. In international authoritative energy and economy management
journals such as Energy, Energy Policy, Energy Conversion and Management,
Journal of Energy Engineering, International Journal of Electrical Power and
Energy Systems, Professor He has published many academic papers with 14
collected by SSCI and 12 by EI, and issued 2 works for monograph and textbook.
Concurrently, she is also a council member of the Chinese Committee for the
International Association for Energy Economics and member of the Special
Committee for Power Utilization and Conservation of the Chinese Society for
Electrical Engineering.

Li Cunbin

Li Cunbin, male, was born in March 1959 in Xinghe County, Inner Mongolia, and
of Han nationality. He was ever conferred many honorary titles, such as the Excellent
Young Teacher of the National Energy Administration (1991), Beijing Model
Teacher in Ethics (2008), Educational Model for Universities and Colleges in
Beijing (2010), and Red Candle Ode Teacher and Most Popular Teacher of North
China Electric Power University. Currently, he is professor and PhD student
supervisor at the School of Economy and Management, North China Electric Power
University, Dean of the Enterprise Management and IT Application Research
Institute of the Economy and Management School, academic director and leader for
North China Electric Power University’s doctoral program on information
management engineering, academic director for the “Management Science and
Engineering” discipline (a key discipline in Beijing) directing at information
management of North China Electric Power University, expert for the Electric Power
Construction Experts Committee, expert member of the Information-based
Committee of the China Association of Construction Enterprise Management,
member of the Experts Committee of the Commission on Science, Technology and
Industry for National Defense, and peer review expert for the National Natural
Science Foundation of China.

Since 2000, Professor Li has published more than 180 academic papers on risk
management and information management, with 10 collected by SCI and 69 by EI.
He has presided over 52 scientific research projects, including 3 projects funded by
the National Natural Science Foundation of China. Many of his projects have won
awards, and one concluded project supported by the National Natural Science
Foundation of China was rated “Excellent”. Moreover, he has issued 13 academic
monographs, and applied for 10 software copyrights and 3 patents.

Professor Li’s current research focus is on information management and decision-


making analysis, power operation and intelligent engineering, risk management and
information system.
