6 Health Effects
Acute - Ingestion of concentrate may irritate mouth, oesophagus and
Swallowed stomach.
Acute - Eye Irritating to eyes. Contact with concentrate or concentrated solutions
may lead to irritation characterized by redness, watering and/or
itching. Avoid contact with eyes.
Acute - Skin Irritating to skin. Skin contact without rinsing will produce mild skin
irritation. Avoid contact with skin.
Acute - Irritating to respiratory system in concentrated form. Avoid breathing
Inhaled spraymists and vapours.
Hazards
Identification HAZARDOUS SUBSTANCE, NON DANGEROUS GOODS.
Chronic Repeated or prolonged exposure to this material will result in skin and
respiratory disorders.
7 First Aid
Swallowed If swallowed, DO NOT induce vomiting. Give a glass of water to drink.
If irritation develops seek medical attention. Have label or Material
Safety Data Sheet to show if possible.
Eye Immediately flush eyes with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes,
occasionally lifting upper and lower lids. Remove contact lenses if
worn. Seek medical attention.
Skin Rinse thoroughly with water. Remove contaminated clothing and
wash before re-use. Seek medical attention.
Inhaled In case of overexposure, move exposed person to fresh air. Ensure
airways are clear and have qualified person give oxygen through a
face mask if breathing is difficult. If irritation develops seek medical
attention.
