ASSOCIATE OF ARTS IN TEACHING EC-6, GRAYSON COUNTY COLLEGE
I attended Grayson County College for two semesters to obtain associates degree. My first
education courses were taken at Grayson County College. I was inducted as a member of Phi
graduate in May of 2019 with my Bachelor of Special Education. I am a member of Project Teach
on campus. I am also a member of Alpha Chi National Honor Society. GPA 3.85
EXPERIENCE
FALL 2016 – CURRENT
SPECIAL EDUCATION PARPROFEESIONAL, GRAYSON COUNTY COOP
Since the fall of 2016 I have worked for the Grayson County COOP as a special education
paraprofessional and also a substitute for their classes in the surrounding districts. As an aide my
duties included assisting the teacher, creating communication tools, teaching the students, and
When I was not working for Grayson County COOP I was working as a substitute teacher. As a
substitute I was tasked with fulfilling the regular duties of the teacher. Being a substitute teacher
gave me the opportunity to learn how to interact with students of all grades, skill sets, and

ACTIVITIES
I am passionate about my role as lead counselor at Seek Camp, a camp for exceptional campers. The
first two weeks of June I spend counseling individuals with special needs. I have volunteered at this
camp for the past six years and I plan to continue volunteering for many more years. My goal is to
eventually become a director at Seek Camp. I attend First Baptist Church of Whitesboro on Sundays and
Wednesdays. I am a Sunday school teacher to the boy’s class, ages eight to twelve. I also volunteer my
time on Wednesday nights as a youth group sponsor. Serving these students is one of my greatest joys. I
