Issue Ref Service Issue 4891; CRF 1064

Description Machines listed in effectivity did not have a line filter for the Turret Controller.
On these units, the line power for the Turret Controller was wired into the
Rexroth filter. It is mandatory that the frames listed in the effectivity section
are retrofitted with a new line filter for the Turret Controller.

Machines wired this way may have an "Alarm 7: IGBT Failure or high current"
or the Turret Controller may fail completely. WinMax will report the following
error message:
ALARM: Turret Controller Fault detected.
Controller reports Short circuit on power stage: check servomotor wiring or
motor or controller may have internal damage.

A change has been implemented in manufacturing to add a new line filter for
the Turret Controller and no longer use the Rexroth filter for this device.

Please order and install the parts listed in the Materials section below and use
the appropriate schematic drawing (for MY or MYS models) to install the parts.

For frames that have the new filter, confirm that the Turret Controller filter is
not connected to the Rexroth filter.

Procedure Wire the new line filter per the attached schematics, (Wiring Changes.pdf).
Confirm that the turret line filter is not connected to the Rexroth line filter as
shown in the attached, (004-1810-011 Rev C is Correct.pdf).

 Remove wires 410, 412 and 414 from this
line filter and wire to 401, 402 and 403.
Relabel both ends of wires.

Relabel as 401, 402 and 403.

Add Line Filter
