DESCRIPTION OF WINS SITUATION:

A. WinS Area: WATER

Water coming from the faucet is not potable to drink. Students bring their own water or buy mineral
water from the canteen because the supply of mineral water for each classroom is limited.

B. WinS Area: SANITATION

There is utility to maintain the cleanliness of the school campus. Students also do the cleaning to help
the utility. They are also taught the proper waste segregation. Moreover, the garbage collector comes
every Thursdays of the week to collect the garbage.

C. WinS Area: HYGIENE

There are two wash areas where students can do the brushing of their teeth and the washing of their
hands. The number of functional toilets is insufficient to the number of students.

D. WinS Area: DEWORMING

Alitagtag Health Unit conducted the first round of deworming in Alitagtag National High School last
August 13, 2018. Two hundred thirty-nine (239) students of 1099 students were dewormed.

D. WinS Area: HEALTH EDUCATION

Health education is included in MAPEH subject. The students were taught on how to promote health
lifestyle and prevent disease and disability.
