After the upgrade, follow the instructions in this chapter to verify the upgrade.
After monitoring boards (PMU, EMU, FMU, TCU, GATM, FAN ,BDU,MEB,CCU and so
on) are upgraded, the board software versions may be inconsistent with the BTS software
version.
You must perform the rollback on the SMT released with BTS3900 V100R012C10SPC330.
If the upgrade fails or the network performance seriously deteriorates after the upgrade,
the version requires a rollback. The manual rollback depends on the actual situations of the
network and customer requirements.
For a multimode base station, if any mode in a multimode base station needs to be rolled
back, roll back all the modes to the source versions.
During the rollback, do not reset the base station or any board, power off the base station,
or remove any board. Doing so will cause the rollback to fail.
If the network was adjusted after the base station upgrade, contact Huawei technical
support when rolling back the base station software version.
After the rollback, the password for logging in to the SMT may change depending on the BTS
versions before and after the upgrade as well as the password change status. For details, see
