PREFACE

First at all, give thanks for God’s love and grace for us.

Thanks to God for helping me and give me chance to finish this

assighment timely.And I would like to express my special appreciation
to Mr.Depi as the lecturer that always teaches and guidances us during
our study and give much knowledge about how to practice English
well.

Furthemore, I would like to say thanks to a Headmaster and all of the

Teachers of Public Elementary School X Margahayu, East Bekasi for give
us a chance to do our task and letting us to teach the students about
English. I also would like to extent my gratitude to all of the students
expecially the fifth class who want to cooperate and the writer
appreciate it.

I also wish to express the deep and sincere gratitude for those who
have guided in completing this report.

This assighment is one of Practical Exam of Teach English Foreign

Language (TEFL) that contains the report of how to teach the students
about English that can help them to know and improve their English
skill be it speaking, listening, writing, reading, etc. The writer realized
that this assighment is not perfect, but hoping that it can be useful for
us.Critics and suggestion is needed here to make this assighment be

BACKGROUND

TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language ) is teaching of English to

people whose first language is not English, expecially people from a
country where English is not spoken.A TEFL covers topics including
teaching language skill, grammar, lesson, planning and classroom
management.TEFL is one of the activitythat is done by students and
other task which according with each competence.TEFL is also a job
training which is the way to introduce the world of English and sure the
way to make them independent. By TEFL, the students learn a lot that
aren’t learned in their school or class.And for me, by TEFL I can got
much experiences, got new frind and the most important is got a
knowledge because we jump direcly to teach them.And a TEFL will
teach us how to :

 Teach English Language Skill.

Teach the five major elements of language learning : reading,
writing, speaking, listening, and pronounciation.
 Simplify English Grammar.
Simplify complex English grammar concepts for ELLs(English
Language Learner)
 Plan Lessons
Plan and deliver effective lessons that meet class learning
objectives and promote productive learning.
 Manage Classroom
Manage your classroom and student behaviour to create a
welcoming and safe learning environment.
 Identify Learning Styles
Identyfy different learning styles and adapt lessons to suit
students and their needs
PURPOSE

 Getting more experience work in school

 Getting new friends be it the teacher or the students of the school
 As a requirement for undertake TEFL practical examination
 Getting score
 Making students know about English and independent in practice

Elementary School X Margahayu, East Bekasi.

CONCLUTION
The TEFL Practical Exam is very useful helping us to get more
experience in the world of education world.In TEFL practical, we
will learn a lot of independent, discipline, and how to teach the
students about English both be it reading, speaking, listening,
writing and pronounce it well.Beside it, our skill and competence
will increase after do the TEFL practical.

SUGGESTION
The equipments, the students sitting position arrangement aren’t
neatly, it must be neatly to make them more easy to study and it
can make the the process of the study effectively.
