POKEMON YELLOW FAQ BY SRGT COFFIE

INTRO

Welcome to The Ultimate Pokmon Yellow Guide! Pokmon Yellow is the newest game
in the multi-billion dollar Pokmon series. Unlike Red & Blue, you get to pick
Pikachu as your first Pokmon, battle Jessie and James, fight new trainers, and
best of all, no Missingno. Pokmon! Pokmon Yellow will not be released in the
United States until mid October, but I was lucky enough to get a copy of the
Australian version, which is the same exact thing as it will be in America. :)
I also have the ROM, which is legal because I have the cartridge. With the ROM,
I can take screen shots of Pokmon Yellow and put it in my HTML version of this
guide! And if you're thinking about importing it from Australia, it's the same
thing as when it'll be released here, so take it from me: If you want to pay a
couple of bucks extra to get it a few weeks early, import it! Also, Mew might
be in Yellow. To see why, goto the "Can You Get Mew?" section later in this
guide. Anyway, read this guide to learn more about Yellow! Enjoy reading this!
*GAME PACK NOTE!!!
nintendo cannot replace pokemon yellow due to age of product. however, you can b
uy a new pack at a game shop.

| | Can You Find Mew? | |
\ \_____________________________________/ /
\_______________________________________/

I personally think you can get Mew in Pokmon Yellow. Here are the reasons:
1: Nintendo was keeping Mew a secret to keep us busy in Pokmon untill Yellow
came out. Why not give Mew out now?
2: There is a Coliseum 2 in the game, which is like the Pokmon Tournaments in
the Mall Tours. Mew isn't allowed in Coliseum 2. If you couldn't get Mew, why
would they outlaw something you couldn't get?
3: Pocket Games magazine said all 152 Pokmon were catchable. This includes Mew
and another one. Missingno. isn't in Yellow, so who's #152? Togepi?!
CONFIRMED: IF YOU HAVE POKEMON RED, BLUE, OR YELLOW, YOU CAN GET MEW!
RUMORS:
Here are some rumors I've heard about:
Rumor #1: You can catch Raichu in the game.
Truth: You CAN'T find Raichu anywhere! You must trade for him.
Rumor #2: You can catch Mew in the game.
Truth: Who knows, yet. So far signs point to yes on this one.
Rumor #3: Pikachu can learn Surf.
Truth: Nope! Pikachu cannot learn Surf.
Rumor #4: You can catch Togepi in the game.
Truth: I cannot say you can't catch Togepi yet.
Rumor #5: You can get Misty and Brock to follow you around.
Truth: Nope, nobody follows you except Pikachu.

EXTRA NOTES!!!!!
MISSINGNO.:
though missingno. cannot be explained, we have almost learned how to harness thi
s powerful glitch. it 's notorius "brother", M',has been knon to cause game defy
ing screens, game file deletion, game pack destruction and ultimatly game boy da
mage. the missingno glitch has been used for good and evil. traded to other game
s to destroy them. it can clone items and (UNCONFIRMED!!!): pokemon cloning.
be careful!
*missingno. has a different way of appearing in yellow than blue/red versions.
MEW GLITCH:
mew, the mystirious 151st pokemon, DOES EXIST on the game. certain glitches can
be used to get him.
i will not tell how due to possible game destruction. however, you're more likel
y to break you're leg than break youre game with mew!!!!
GLITCH CITY:
glitch city is still being researched by many people. the makers of the game den
ied the fact that there even was a glitch city.
but it exists.
i do not know how to get it in yellow. (it is different than in blue/red.
HOWEVER!!! DO NOT ATTEMPT TO GET GLITCH CITY IN YELLOW. GAME DESTRUCTION WILL RE
SULT!!! BLUE/RED PACKS ARE THE ONLY SAFE GAMES TO TRIE IT ON.
error code 404:
this is the worst glitch you can possibly get. error code 404 can be preformed b
yu a wrongly done pokemon cloning. the code "404" means that the games internal
graphics have died. if this error code comes up, heres what to do!
DO NOT TRIE TO SAVE THE POKEMON, IF YOU TRY TO TRADE THEM TO OTHER PACKS, THE VI
RUS WILL SPREAD.
1. MAKE SURE THE ERROR CODE HAS FULLY GONE THROUGH.
2. REMOVE PACK FROM GAME BOY IMMEDIATLY OR ELSE...
3. DESPOSE OF GAME PACK!!!!!!

THANK YOU.
