COLUMN HEADING DESCRIPTION

WA NUM Well Permit number
DRILLNG EVENT Drilling event (DE) number in which fracture occurs (00, 02, 03 etc)
COMPLTN EVENT Completion event (CE) number in which fracture occurs (00, 02, 03 etc)

UWI 16 character Unique Well Identifier for this Drilling event and Completion Event
WELL NAME Well Name
COMPLTN DATE Date the fracture was conducted dd-mon-year
COMPLTN TOP DEPTH (m) Top depth of interval in which fracture stage occurred in mKB
COMPLTN BASE DEPTH (m) Base depth of interval in which fracture stage occurs in mKB
COMPLTN TYPE Completion type - Single, Dual, Multi, Open Hole Barefoot (OHB)

Unique system generated number, not repeated, no business significance,

COMPLETION WORKOVER KEY uniquely identifies each completion/workover operation record

System generated number, repeating number, common to all records made as

part of a well submission, repeats for all records for a well in that submission,
FRAC SUMMARY KEY can be used to group frac stages belonging to the same submission

Frac stage number - can have values such as 1, 2, 3, …19, 20 or 1A, 5A, 5B, 5C
FRAC STAGE NUM or 1TOE, 1INJ, 7INJ, or 1DFIT for DFIT/mini-frac or Injection tests for a stage

1st of 4 fields defining frac type - Base fluid can be Fresh Water, Saline Water,
BASE FLUID Oil, Acid, CO2, Propane, Surfactant, Other * see definitions below
2nd of 4 fields defining frac type - Slickwater, Linear, Crosslinked, None - ** see
VISCOSITY GEL TYPE definitions below
3rd of 4 fields defining frac type - Energized, Foam or None *** see definitions
ENERGIZER below
ENERGIZER TYPE 4th of 4 fields defining frac type - CO2, N2, CO2/N2 or None
TD or PBTD in mKB below frac stage 1, or location of last Bridge Plug, sand plug
PLUG BACK TOTAL DEPTH (m) or swell packer in mKB below each additional frac stage

ACID SPEARHEAD AMOUNT (m3) Volume of acid in m3, blank if none

ACID TYPE Type of acid used, character string, must be entered if an acid volume entered
BREAK DOWN PRESSURE (MPa) Formation break down pressure, in MPa
INST SHUT IN PRESSURE (MPa) Instantaneous Shut-in Pressure in MPa

MAX TREATING PRESSURE (MPa) Maximum Treating Pressure in MPa

AVG TREATING PRESSURE (MPa) Average Treating Pressure in MPa
AVG RATE (m3/min) Average Treating Rate in m3/min
Fracture Gradient - expected calculation method for industry is (ISIP(kPa) +
FRAC GRADIENT (KPa/m) Hydrostatic Head (kPa))/ Depth (m)
Total Fluid Pumped into formation in m3 for the frac stage, including acid and
TOTAL FLUID PUMPED (m3) additives (not including CO2 volumes)
TOTAL CO2 PUMPED (m3)
TOTAL N2 PUMPED (scm)
RADIOACTIVE FLAG Radioactive Tracer used? - Y, N or blank
Radioactive Tracer type - must be entered if RA flag is yes, character string
RADIOACTIVE TRACER TYPE listing radioactive tracer element Isotope, blank if flag is No

CHEMICAL TRACER FLAG Chemical tracer used? - Y, N or blank

Chemical tracer type - must be entered if Chemical tracer flag is Yes, character
CHEMICAL TRACER TYPE string indicating tracer type, blank if flag is No

Must enter at least one proppant type, pumped and placed. If fracture was
conducted without proppant, proppant type1 = None, 0t pumped and placed.
Proppant type examples are 100 mesh, 50/140, 40/70, 20/40, 20/40 SB Prime
PROPPANT TYPE1 etc. or None
PROPPANT TYPE1 PUMPED (t) tonnes of proppant pumped for proppant type 1, 0t if no sand

DEFINITIONS

* Base Fluid Fresh Water is up to 4000ppm and Saline Water is >4000ppm

Slickwater = water containing friction reducing chemicals that has a low

** Viscosity/Gel Type viscosity

Linear = contains polymer (guar, guar derivatives or synthetic polymers (HPG,

** Viscosity/Gel Type CMHPG, HEC) added to the base fluid to increase viscosity

Cross-linked = contains cross-linkers (borate ion) to join together overlapping

** Viscosity/Gel Type linear polymer strands to increase viscosity of the base fluid
*** Energizer Energized = less than 52% N2, CO2 or CO2/N2 added
*** Energizer Foam = greater than 52% N2, CO2 or CO2/N2 added
