Educational Philosophy
I believe that all students have the right to a proper education; one that is student-centered. Teaching should be
adjusted to meet the needs of the students. It is my job to fulfill the students' need for learning by creating and
following through with engaging and relevant lesson plans. I will meet the needs of the students at, below, or above
grade level by differentiated instruction. I plan to have an active, hands-on classroom by bringing in several different
resources and manipulatives to aide in student learning. I believe timely feedback is a critical need for student
success. It gives the chance for students to reflect on their work. I will provide a warm and friendly classroom that
the students will feel comfortable in. I believe that rapport is one of the most important aspects in education.
Building relationships with my students is something I will always try to do daily. Not only do I want students to
succeed in the classroom, but in life as well. I hope my students will carry life lessons with them as they grow older.
