To Whom it May Concern,

It is an honor to write this letter for Juliana Veliz, whom I have the distinct pleasure of having her in
my class for the past year and a valuable member of Foshay Learning Center. In that time I have found
Juliana to be a creative, proactive, and mature young woman. She has proven to be a promising student—
one who has shown academic curiosity, a maturity in dealing with the topics encountered in class, and
commitment to completing all assignments. Juliana is a hard-working team player and vocal leader.

She is amicable to her peers and teachers and respectful at all times, regardless of her stance in
regard to one’s personal opinion. It is her presence in the classroom that has brought a level of
intellectualism and professionalism to our discussions, whether centered on the academic subject at hand or
a digressive discussion that may spontaneously occur.

Juliana is an exemplary student; very responsible, determined and always exerts 100 percent effort
in her work. She undoubtedly has the potential for great success. Her natural abilities combined with her
optimism, risk taker, work ethic and ability to evolve academically and socially are a recipe for success in
the years to come. Furthermore, she is well aware of her community’s needs, the lack of resources, and is
proactive in making a change to better her community. I enthusiastically recommend her and believe she is
well deserving of all opportunities that come her way.

In the future, when I think of Juliana I will most remember her intellectual promise, her motivation
to excel at all things she proposes to complete, her confidence, perseverance, and her warmth of
personality. I unreservedly recommend Juliana to be an addition to your University family.
