Teach the students letter “c” and the sound of it, to let them be able to recognize the letter and know
the sound

2. Describe what you will do to help achieve your goal (Strategies Used)
Ask the students about the letter and the sound of it while they are doing different kind of activities
after the circle time.

By using a checklist with their name to know who is understand the letter and the sound correctly.

-Show them the new letter, write the letter on the board by telling them “starting from up, then making half
circle”.

Active Engagement (group working with the teacher)

With my group, I will be prepare the letter “c” on the paper and I will let the students paint the letter “c” by
using painting colors so they are going to tap with their finger on the color on the plate then on the letter by
starting from up to down and make half circle.
Independent Experience (small group activity 1)

Students will going to write the letter “c” on the sand with their finger, they will repeat it many times to
remember how to write it and this will going to improve their fine motor skills and small muscles. Also,
they will try to see the small words that start with letter “c” and write it such as; cat, car.

Independent Experience(small group activity 2)

Students in this activity will try to make the letter “c” with different colors of play dough, they will have
laminated paper that include the letter and they will put the play dough on it.
Time: 25 min

Independent Experience(small group activity 3)

In this activity, students will make a caterpillar on the letter “c” that already written on their paper by using
small colourful papers, glue and googly eyes, they will make their own caterpillar and the assistant will help

Assessment

With using the white board and the marker I will let the students to write the letter “c” and tell me the sound of the
letter, and I am going to give them a star if they answer correct so they will be motivated for other lessons.
