Transformed Section

Using a width of 10mm an effective area based on the 0 degree properties of the
wood is calculated.

From here a Z min can be found

Using a built in beam with a uniformly distributed load the bending moment and
a bending stress can be found. For the ABS figure for the off axis orientation
to be a valid figure, this should equal the Modulus of Rupture.

The pressure head is the pressure requirement at the midpoint of the frame.
The spacing is the spacing of the transverse frames.
The span is the chord length between the gunwale and the centreline at the keel.
