Succinct Review
South Mappings;
Two question that gave me a new insight to the southern region of the U.S. are;
This question seemed very obvious at first as I thought everything below the middle horizontal
line of the U.S. which is true, however seeing the delta map, my idea changed on this. Southern
My second question is why are some states considered the deep south?
I though states really low south, However Florida which is all the way below is not considered
deep South. It seems to be the states that are most dependent on plantation during the pre-
antebellum.

We are discussing in class what makes the south so different from everywhere else in the
United States; that is nothing less than the Delta Paradigm. The 3 things people in the south

This with culture and the arts are all what the south is about.
I can actually remember many things we discussed in class. Many of these things I remember as
well due to I was living in South Carolina and Florida in the past. I have improve since the
beginning.
I would like to focus on blues the genre, what were the struggles, trials and tribulation of these
artist.
