The KHT ProfileScan is a scanner for roller and
conveyor belts. It detects, checks and classifies
product profiles during the throughput at
speeds up to 2 metres per second.
The collected data is used to control material
flows, assess the quality of the transported goods
and measure the product dimensions.

The exact metrology of the KHT ProfileScan scans contours precisely.
Work pieces (e.g. brake discs) are identified and assigned to various
work stations.
The measurement of cardboard boxes using KHT ProfileScan provides
the data for a robot-controlled palletising or billing by shipment
volume. The fast and reliable control software always provides the
necessary data and issues warning messages or measured values.
The KHT ProfileScan functional principle
The KHT ProfileScan scanner has an infra-red light grid with
a particularly fine resolution grid (2.5 mm). The transported
material runs through this infra-red light curtain and is
measured multiple times per second.
The system generates an image of the item outline as well as its
position using many individual images (slices) and determines all
the required data. The modular set-up of this system allows for an
individual adaptation to the most diverse requirements.

Continuously fast: The best detection results at Transfer of all measurement
up to 2 m/sec. Throughput speed of the belt data via TCP/IP
The KHT ProfileScan Control Software
The specially developed software immediately
detects deformed or not properly sealed cardboard
boxes and evaluates crowning of packages.
Slanted positioned cardboard boxes are also measured
with an intelligent calculation algorithm. The software
enables data transmission via Ethernet.

The KHT ProfileScan is sturdy, durable and low
maintenance. If you should have questions about
the product or its application, our expert service team
is available to assist you. Using remote maintenance
software, our technicians are able to quickly and
reliably make a diagnosis. Costly long downtimes
and the travelling of service personnel are thus avoided.
