Solutions
(i) Since −π = −2π + π , therefore
sin ( −π ) = sin ( −2π + π ) = sin π = 0
cos ( −π ) = cos ( −2π + π ) = cos π = −1
tan ( −π ) = tan ( −2π + π ) = tan π = 0
csc ( −π ) = csc ( −2π + π ) = csc π = ∞ (undefined)
sec ( −π ) = sec ( −2π + π ) = secπ = −1
cot ( −π ) = cot ( −2π + π ) = cot π = ∞ (undefined)

(ii) Since −3π = −4π + π = −2(2π ) + π , therefore


sin ( −3π ) = sin ( −2(2π ) + π ) = sin π = 0
And now find other values yourself.
