Congratulations on your acceptance into the Infanterie-Regiment No. 2 "Herzog Wilhelm, Württemberg"!

This Guidebook will help provide you with all the information you need to know as a new member of the regiment. Despite its length, it only contains the basis of
information you need to be aware of, and does by no means provide a full picture of the regiment. In addition to this, the Guidebook is subject to change
through updates and the removal or addition of new points. We suggest you check it regularly for these aforementioned updates.

Rhen Failure to adhere to the Guidebook or Code of Conduct may result in your expulsion from the regiment.

B. Who is who?

The Regiment (henceforth abbreviated to as the No. 2) is divided into two companies: the Grenadier Kompagnie (TGK) and the Leichte Kompagnie (TLK), where
the former is the infantry company and the latter the lights company. These two companies are distinguishable in various ways, like the classes they play in-
game, but also here on the forums and on Teamspeak3. Members of TGK will have a blue rank icon underneath their names and ranks, whereas members of
TLK will have a green rank icon underneath their names and ranks. For further details, check section C. of this Guidebook.
Rhen The No. 2 as a whole is headed by Major Daniel , who is also in charge of TGK.

In regard (and as a reminder) to your acceptance response, you will be required to add either Major Daniel  if you were accepted into TGK.

Below follows a list of all the other leadership members that you may, upon your volition, add as well -- something we highly recommend, of course.

C. Communication

The No. 2 uses three (possibly four) forms of communication between its members; Teamspeak3, Steam, the forums and possibly Flying Squirrel Entertainment
(henceforth abbreviated as FSE; see section G. for more information).

Upon acceptance, and after you have successfully added Major Daniel  , you will receive two Steam invitations to two Steam groups, which you will both be
Rhen required to join. There are three groups in total; one for the No. 2 as a whole, and one for each respective company. It is your responsibility to make sure that

you receive the appropriate invitations to the correct Steam groups by contacting the leadership, and then joining them.

As for Teamspeak3, you are required to message (or poke) one of the leadership (see section B.) in order to get the appropriate server groups, which are needed
for you to gain free access to the Teamspeak3. As it is the primary form of communication (apart from the game) between members, we sincerely hope you use
it freely and abundantly.

D. Rank Structure

The No. 2 uses a hierarchical system, which is based on a simpli ed version of the Napoleonic Austrian structure, to implement orders and discipline. Below you
will nd this hierarchical list. It is headed by the Major, and is then divided into two equal parts: the Grenadier Kompagnie (in blue) and the Jäger Kompagnie (in
green). The structure goes downward and from left to right.

E. Event Schedule

Events take place on an almost daily basis, and for further information regarding events; check the appropriate Kompagnie Steam groups. Here you will nd all
planned events to come. In addition, Nr2 Group ghting (see section F.) will also have events after the regular regimental events.

F. Nr2 Group ghting Team

The regiment also has a group ghting team, co-captained by Major Daniel. Members will be put on trial to see if they're worthy of entering the team, and once
they are accepted, are free to participate in group ghting matches normally hosted one hour after regular events, at 8 GMT to be precise. If you happen to be
interested, you may upon your own volition contact either of these two captains (see section B.) to forward this interest. Each member of the team is required to
pick a unique in-game banner by which they will be identi able in game.
