Class Features
The following is a class feature of the Mom class
Weapon and Armor Proficiency: Moms do not gain any proficiency in armor. Moms, however, know how to make good
use of their surroundings and are proficient with makeshift weapons, including their children’s toys.
Endurance: At 1st level, Moms gain the Endurance feat
Light Sleeper: At 1st level, moms automatically succeed at Listen checks to wake up when their children cry, scream, or
are otherwise about to do something dangerous.
Scent: A Mom develops a keen sense of smell, and is able to smell a dirty diaper from 30 feet away.
Bonus Feats: At 2nd, 6th, 10th, 14th, and 18th level, Moms may select a bonus feat from the following list: Improved
Initiative, Iron Will, Investigator, Lightning Reflexes, Mobility, Self-Sufficient, Skill Focus (Any)
Multiple Actions (ex): At 3rd level, a Mom can make a number of move actions each round equal to twice her Wisdom
modifier. Moms have been known to prepare a bottle, retrieve and sanitize a dropped pacifier, locate missing baby socks,
and perform sock puppet shows all in the same round. This is an extraordinary ability.
Mommie Knowledge: At 3rd level, a Mom may make a special mommie knowledge check with a bonus equal to her Mom
level + her Intelligence modifier to see whether she knows some relevant information or advice requested by her children.
(If the Mom has 5 or more ranks in Knowledge (history), she gains a +2 bonus on this check.)
A successful mommie knowledge check will not reveal the powers of a magic item but may give a hint as to its general
function. A Mom may not take 10 or take 20 on this check; this sort of knowledge is essentially random.

Immunity to Nausea (ex): At 4th level, Mom is immune to the nauseating effects of most bodily fluids, particularly those
that come out of children when they are sick.
Bonus Damage: At 4th level, a Mom gains a +2 bonus to damage to when protecting her children. Each time this ability
is gained, the Bonus Damage increases by an additional 2 pts.
Power Word (su): At 5th, 10th, 15th, and 20th level, a Mom gains access to a mystical word that she can use at will. The
Will save versus any Power Word is DC 10 + the Mom’s levels. All Power Word effects are Enchantment (compulsion)
Mind-Effecting abilities. A Power Word works on the Mom’s children, her children’s friends, and nieces and nephews
within the sound of her voice. Her own children suffer a –5 penalty to the Will Save to resist the Power Word.
Power Word: NO: When Power Word: No is uttered, the target immediately ceases whatever action he or she was
contemplating and steps back five feet from whatever it was he or she was messing with. Power Word: No fills the target
with a sense of dread regarding the previously considered action, but does not necessarily stop the target from attempting
it again.
Power Word: STOP: When Power Word: Stop is uttered, all affected targets immediately freeze in place and turn their
attention to the Mom. The target is unable to move for one round, and becomes completely fixated on the Mom. When
spoken by a Mom with Aura of Fear, this ability has been known to cause all affected targets to simultaneously burst into
tears.
Power Word: FINE: When Power Word: Fine is uttered; this ability fills the target with a crushing sense of guilt for not
engaging in a behavior requested by the Mom. The Mom must first request that the target engage in a specific action. If
the target comes up with an excuse as to why the action cannot be performed, the Mom may use this ability.
Teenagers affected by this ability have a sudden need to do laundry, wash dishes, or even clean their rooms in order to
relieve themselves of the guilt they feel. Because this ability works even across phone lines, it can be used against adult
children to force them to change their weekend plans and visit their parents.
It is rumored that this ability also works on the Mom’s spouse, but no Mom has ever confirmed that rumor.
Power Word: SIGH: This terrible power can bring even adult children to their knees, begging their Mom to tell them what
is wrong so that they can fix it. The Mom simply takes a deep breath and then slowly, methodically exhales. Affected
targets become so overwhelmed by the thought that they did something inherently wrong that they drop everything to go
to the Mom’s side. Unlike Power Word: Fine, the Mom need not request any specific action first in order to use this power.
Healing Kiss (ex): At 7th level, the Mom gains the extraordinary ability to heal all non-lethal damage by merely kissing
the wound.
Antiseptic Saliva (ex): At 8th level, the Mom can use her saliva to clean her children. The Mom can lick her thumb and
scrub dirty, grim, caked blood, and similar filth from her child.
Enhanced Focus: A Mom’s years of pulling after screaming children have sharpened her ability to concentrate and focus
on a specific task while under stress. When making a skill check, she may take 10 even if stress and distractions would
normally prevent her from doing so. She also suffers no penalties to opposed Listen or Spot checks in situations where she
might otherwise be distracted.
Aura of Fear (su): At 9th level, the Mom gains an Aura of Fear that causes affected targets to make critical errors in her
presence. Her children, their friends, and even nieces and nephews suffer a –4 penalty to Bluff, Disable Device, Hide, and
Move Silently checks while within 60 ft of the Mom. At 16th level, this aura extends to include adults that are attempting
to harm the Mom or any children in her presence. At 20th level, this aura is so powerful that anyone attempting to do harm
to the Mom or any children in her presence must succeed at a Will Save (DC 25) or immediately flee the area.
Mom’s Cooking (su): At 13th level, the Mom is able to imbue her meals with her love for her children. Any child that
eats his or her mom’s cooking becomes well fed, and gains a +2 bonus to Fortitude saves for the next 24 hours.
Time Manipulation (su): At 17th level, a Mom gains the supernatural ability to manipulate time. Once per day, a Mom
can activate this ability for 1 round per level. This ability works like the Time Stop spell, except the Mom can choose to
extend the spell to also affect her children and spouse so that they can move with her. Moms often use this ability to make
sure multiple children all get to their different after school activities on time, or to prepare the house before guests arrive
for a birthday party or other event. At 19th level, this ability lasts for 2 rounds per level.
