RE: Information Dissemination (FINALS)

This is to inform the Faculty of the Computer Department of guidelines to be observed this
FINAL PERIOD

1. The COMP 221 subject shall be departmentalized, hence you are advised to wait for the schedule
of examination.

2. THE COMP 221L / Comp 211 / Comp 211L/ MINF / Comp421/ IENG 511 subjects shall not be
departmentalized, hence you may administer your finals examination during the specified dates,
from September 29 to October 3 for graduating and October 3 to 6 for non-graduating.

3. Classes for graduating and non-graduating students that would fall on September 30 and
October 2 may already administer their final exams, provided it would not violate the first
stipulation

4. Faculty are advised to follow admin’s memo on NO PERMIT NO GRADE POLICY, and to
check and recheck their permits, as it has become a pertinent problem that some students use old
and unused permits.

5. From the Registrar’s Office, faculty are advised to submit the INC Removal Form prior to final
grade encoding so that subject grade would not be affected.

6. Faculty are advised to read memo #134 series of 2017 from VPADMIN with regards to Letter of
Intent, duly signed by your respective department head

7. Faculty with graduating class are required to attend the Deliberation this October 7, Faculty who
would be absent from the deliberation must explain in writing the reason/s and submit it to the
office of Administrative Affairs.

8. Completion exams shall be administered this October 9, the Common day for completions would
be this October 16.

9. In case the faculty would be absent and could not administer the completion exam, you are
hereby instructed to inform your respective head if he/she can administer the exam for you. If not
please inform when would be the best time that a student could take the completion exam.

10. Early administration of final examination is strictly discouraged.

11. No faculty shall accept special project that includes monetary value or any form of project that is
direct violation in provisions of the Revised Faculty Manual 2016.

12. Above Stipulations are subject to change by PATTS Management as they see fit.
