ELECTRICAL
ENGINEERING
Electrical Engineerng is a degree that focuses on the development,
production, and application of any system that utilizes electricity
encompassing topics such as circuit design, fields and optics, and
even nanotechnology.

Basic Information for

Future EE Majors:
Very Math intensive (e.g. Hardest math
courses taken are MA 26600 - Differential
Equations and MA 26500 - Linear Algebra)
Minimum of 4 science classes is needed like
Chemistry and Physics (e.g. CHM 11500 and
PHYS 17200)
No Foreign Language requirement (unless
its for the ECE General Education Elective)

Courses to Take in the

ECE 30100 - Signals and Systems

ECE 31100 - Electric and

Magnetic Fields

ECE 36200 - Microprocessor

Systems and Interfacing
