TELL ME ABOUT YOURSELF .

I was born and brought up in Renukoot . Currently I am in Final Year of Electrical Engineering with
an aggregate of 74.35 % .Personality wise, I am an ambivert .My short term goal is to obtain an
entry level position in an engineering environment where I would add value to the organization .I
believe in Simple Living and High Thinking .My biggest strength is my Perseverance . I am a quick
learner,so even though I am from non CS Background, I would quickly learn whatever technologies
are required for the job .If given a chance to work in your organization, I would leave no stone
unturned for the Growth of organization .

HOW WAS YOUR DAY SO FAR ?

It has been alright . I woke up, had my usual breakfast . Prayed to the almighty that everything
goes well . Had a little bit of nerves as it was my first ever interview .Then I came and here I am .

WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT OUR WORK AT INFOSYS

There are so many things which attracts an individual to work for Infosys . World Class Training
.Awesome Infrastructure .Good Projects and Good growth . It is one of the best Service Based
Companies in the world .

Big Data, SAP , Data Analytics and Cloud Related Projects .Its a great place for freshers .In 2 months
training Non CS can also learn all the concepts. It provides exposure to corporate world . One will
learn how to intract with clients and other people .Overall it’s a complete package for a fresher .

HAVE YOU BEEN IN A DIFFICULT SITUATION

LEADERSHIP SKILLS

A good leader is one who beileives that he or she is servant of those who elected him to the post .I
am a firm believer in backing my team during failuire and that is the true class of a leader . MS
Dhoni ,my idol is the perfect example .

WHAT KNOWLEDGE DO YOU HAVE ABOUT IT

Our major Goal is the sharing of information .IT is literally the technology involved with the
storage,retrieval,manipulation and transmission of information .People can describe objects but
without technology its hard to convey what you exactly want to tell .Technologies are invented
when our requirements for Information change .With Cognitive Processing,AI and other technologies
on the horizon, IT will evolve inot something huge .When we access a website, we are concerned
with the information on that website . If there were none,we probably wont be interested in
accesing that .Information is stored in Database .

WHAT IF YOU LEAVE

For me better opportuniyty doesn’t mean hike in salary . Many times better opportunities turn out
to be short lived .Money is the most evil thing in this world . If my growth is more in the present
company then probably after 5-6 years my package here will be more so why would I leave this
organization .I don’t think about the future too much and prefer to stay in the moment because
future is a result of the actions that we do now .

WHY DO YOU THINK YOU AE FIT FOR INFOSYS

Basic skills required are Communication . I can be made to learn whatever the company desires .

WHAT KIND OF A PERSON ARE YOU /

CODING

This was my biggest fault that I did not learn any language during the past 3 years . During the first
year, there was a subject known as C. Programming .I was pretty good at it that time . I developed
interest for it. But as soon as the semester was over, the interest eventually faded . My gut feeling
says that I can learn C or similar languages within a short period of time .Its never too late to
mend .

WHY ELECTRICAL

I did not chode Electrical Engineering, it was shoved down my throat by my Parents they thought
that I would have better prospects in Public Sector . They wanted to see me in Government Sector .
But I consider government sector as mundane .

AMBIVERT

An Ambivert is a balance of Extrovert and Introvert behavior .I am not a talkative person and it
takes time for me to mingle with people .I mean it is good for me too as Office is not a place to
discuss personal life issues . We are here to work and that is our bread and butter . I know It is hard
for people like me to get recognition for a person with personality like me . But deep down I know
that my hard work would sail my boat through .This is what I am and I can’t change for others .Sir, I
am a careful listener so I very well know who’s who and how to deal with them . In my case, I have
a fancy for introversion more as compared to extroversion . But still the term would be Ambivert .I
am an extrovert for people who know me deeply and an introvert for people who don’t know me or
are my friends just for the sake of convenience .I am a blend of both of these . I was zero at
extracurricular front because of laid back attitude .

I have problem in continuing conversation .During my school life, every week we used to have
some culture event like debate declamation, I studied in the same school for 14 years including
Nursery and Pre Nursey, but I never went to Dias.Teachers used to complain that your child has
caliber, but he never showcases on a platform . People have always thought that I lack self
confidence to face the world .My introversion has always beein misinterpreted by shyness .I can be
relied upon b my leaders as I am good listener .More in depth and meaningful Professinal
Connections .I am self motivated . I love the feeling of being completely immersed in the work that
I enjoy .I don’t require as much external stimulus as others do .Speaking without thinking will never
be an issue for me . I speak with intention, that’s why my words carry more weight .Introspective .

CONFIDENCE AND OVER CONFIDENCE

Confidence is “I can do ir” and Over confidence is “Only I can do it”. Confidence is necessary for the
person to gain success while “Overconfdence can ruin one’s success .

HARD WORK AND SMART WORK

With the help of both we can achieve the results but what makes the difference is the time taken
.Hard work consumes more time whereas Smart Work consumes less time . We should achieve the
result in a smart way by working hard .Smart Work may fail sometimes but Hard Work does not .

WHY DO YOU WANT TO WORK AT OUR COMPANY ?

Sir,it would be a great privilege for anyone to kickstart their career with an IT Giant like Infosys .The
name is enough to work . As I am fresher,all I need is aplatform,and I think it would be a huge
opportunity to begin my career in this technical world .Here I can grow up and learn new things
which would be helpful for me as well as the organization .

JOB PROFILE SYSTEMS SOFTWARE ENGINEER

The work of a System Engineer depends upon the requirement of work on project i.e.
development,testing,support. In some projects support the development team . So it purely
depends upon project allocation .Developement Project : As a developer we are expected write
codes in the programming language that the project is based on . I Maintenance Project, major or
minor enhancement in an already built project pertainng to clients requirement .Support Project :
address client issues and do little coding wherever required .

AS YOU ARE FROM A NON CS BACKGROUND WHY DO YOU WANT TO JOIN IT

Mr N arayan MurthySir is the biggest example .

When I joined college for graduation in Electrical, I did no know even the ABC of these sunjects…
Engineering gives a technical edge and with that we can learn anything .Being a technical person I
am qualified for the job . I aspire to be a part of IT irrespective of my specialization because
Software is the way the future seems to be going , with everything in our lives slowly shifting to e
platform Technically IT sector requires High IQ level,Good Problem Solving Skills,and willingness to
learn new technology. I queried from seniors who were placed in IT and they told me that I can get
into IT even if I am from a different background .I guess if the selection process allowed non CS
students to be apart.. then they also would have thought that these uys also have the potential .
Youll train ill learn .

WHY SHOULD WE HIRE YOU

As I am a fresher . I can be adaptable to any type of environment . I can mould myself according to
organization’s needs .I have the confidence that I can complete the work assigned to me .I would
be able to learn anything my company would require and that too at a fast pace .I would always try
to make god relationship with my clients and I am pretty much disciplined so I would never cross
the Company limits .As I am reliable and strongly capable in understanding any process and
making decisions with minimum supervisions, I can assure you that I would always give the first
priority to my work .I am sure that m contribution would be a part of Company’s growth .I am
confident that I would be a great addition to the company .

STRNEGTHS

Perseverance : Doing something despite delay or difficuly in achieving success . It may also be
called as addiction to a goal even in extreme conditions .I was in 12 th Standard at that time .
Chemistry was a nightmare .

Learning Agility : is the ability and willingness to perform successfully in New Situations. Finding
yourself in a new situation and not knowing what to do-but then figuring it out .

Time Management : Basically Time Management includes Time Blocking , it means dedicating
certain amount of time to each task . This helps to stay focused as we only have a limited amount
of time to complete the task .Delegate task to others .

Work Ethic :

I wont miss a day of work .

WEAKNESS I’m a bit of rescuer. Sometimes I try to solve other people’s problems at the cost of
my own work.This has impacted me sometimes because I overload myself . But from tha past few
months I have learnt the art of saying No and focusing on my work first .

Emotional Attachment, people used to easily convince me. But now I no more fall in their trap .

SHORT TERM GOAL

My short term goal is to work for an organization like Infosys where I can work satisfactorily .

LONG TERM GOAL

I’m not quite sure about what future holds for me .But certainly my first job would play a big part in
I prefer to live in the present and take life one step at a time . Working hard today is always the first
step towards success tomorrow .Developer or Senior Software Engineer or Technical Lead .

HOBBIES

Since 2007, I have been an ardent cricket fan .Cooking – Soyabean,Veg Biryani,Shimla Mirch 2
pyaza, Dal Fry, I am yet to learn South Indian .This dates back to March 2015, my 12 th Boards were
going on and my Grandma had passed away . My parents went to attend the funeral and I was left
alone so I had no other option but to cook myself . So each day I used to surf the internet and look
for recipes . Dya by day I got better and now on weekends I give rest to my mom and cook . This is
a big step towards living independent . I mean one day or the other I’sd have to leave my family to
earn . Knowing how to cook would be a great help to survive on my own .

Yes sir, and this maybe a weird one . Is there any other reason that I won’t be hired apart from the
fact that I am not an expert in Coding .

WHAT IF YOU ARE NOT SELECTED

I would retrospect myself and check for the areas where I failed . We never know what life has in
store for us . I believe that brigher days are ahead . Ill bounce back with knowledge and
confidence .

It is an Industrial Town founded by Jawaharlal Nehru .It is well known for Hindalco Akuminium Plant
and Riahnd Dam .shares border with Bihar, Chattisgarg,MP,Jharkhand .In 1963, Nehru came for the
inagruation for Rihand Dam,G D Birla and JRD Tata accompanied him. Nehru asked them to set up
Industry here . Birla agreed . Tis was the foundation of Renukoot .It has a cozy environment and
natural beauty . Land of temples .
