están caminando en el parque.
Peter: No, están estudiando porque tienen un
examen en dos días.

SARAH, Peter, tengo que irme. Estoy de compras
con mi madre. ¡NOS VEMOS MÁS TARDE!

he went to the party with Rose.

to our house to see the pictures of

Johan: Sí, todo fue absolutamente delicioso,

Monica: Claro, pero no olvides la música. Fue
increible Bailamos toda la noche.
Sophie: Es una verdadera pena que no pueda ir. Y
... ¿usted, por casualidad, vio a Paul?
Johan: ¿Por qué preguntas eso?
Sophie: En realidad, quiero saber si fue a la fiesta
con Rose.
Monica: Mmm, no estoy muy segura de si lo vi,
pero ¿qué hay de ir a nuestra casa para ver las
fotos de la fiesta? Para que lo descubras.

Renata: Good morning everyone, I’m
Renata and I’m from Brazil. Where do
you come from?
Gina: Hello. I’m Gina and I live in
Colombia. I usually come here to Texas
every summer.
Nick: Hey, I’m Nick and I’m
American. Welcome to the summer
camp. I’m the General Counselor. Let
me tell you that we generally start the
day with a music activity.
Renata: I like that because I sing and
play the drums.
Nick: Do you have a band?
Renata. Yes, I have a music band in
São Paulo. I suppose that children here
also play instruments.
Nick: Yeah, some of them do. Do you
play any instrument, Gina?
Gina: No, I only dance.
Nick: Perfect, so we can play music
and dance with the campers. Let´s
move on to the afternoons, we usually
practice some sports like tennis, soccer
and baseball.
Renata: Great. In my country, we love
soccer.
Gina: In Colombia, we seldom play
baseball but we like soccer too.
Nick: Awesome! Children usually
choose soccer. Nowadays, soccer is
quite popular here in the States. And in
the evenings, campers build a campfire
and tell scary stories with the Outdoor
Activities Staff. Do you like those
stories?
Gina: Yes, I do.
Renata: No, I don’t. I hate darkness
and ghost stories.
Nick: Don’t worry. In that case, we
also have a karaoke contest.
Renata: Sure, I will go for that.
Nick: Ok, I promise you will have a lot
of fun this summer.
Renata: Buenos días a todos, soy Renata y soy de
Brasil. ¿De dónde es?
Gina: hola Soy Gina y vivo en Colombia.
Normalmente vengo aquí a Texas cada verano.
Nick: Hola, soy Nick y soy estadounidense.
Bienvenidos al campamento de verano. Soy el
Consejero General. Déjame decirte que
generalmente comenzamos el día con una
actividad musical.
Renata: Me gusta eso porque canto y toco la
batería.
Nick: tienes una banda?
Renata. Sí, tengo una banda de música en São
Paulo. Supongo que los niños aquí también tocan
instrumentos.
Nick: sí, algunos de ellos lo hacen. ¿Tocas algún
instrumento, Gina?
Gina: no, solo bailo.
Nick: Perfecto, para que podamos tocar música y
bailar con los campistas. Pasemos a las tardes,
solemos practicar algunos deportes como el tenis,
el fútbol y el béisbol.
Renata: genial En mi país, amamos el fútbol.
Gina: En Colombia, rara vez jugamos béisbol,
pero también nos gusta el fútbol.
Nick: ¡Impresionante! Los niños suelen elegir el
fútbol. Hoy en día, el fútbol es muy popular aquí
en los Estados Unidos. Y por las noches, los
campistas hacen una fogata y cuentan historias de
miedo con el personal de actividades al aire libre.
¿Te gustan esas historias?
Gina: sí, lo hago.
Renata: No, no lo hago. Odio la oscuridad y las
historias de fantasmas.
Nick: no te preocupes En ese caso, también
tenemos un concurso de karaoke.
Renata: Claro, voy por eso.
Nick: Ok, te prometo que te divertirás mucho este
verano.
