HCI Training Document –

After requesting the HCI account from SAP, SAP will provide HCI access with HCP Account. So, first
thing you should do is

1) Login to your HCP account with S User ID and Password provided.

https://account.ap1.hana.ondemand.com/cockpit (This is the example URL of HCP cockpit)

2) On HCP cockpit select your Global Account as below and click on highlight link

3) After clicking on above link you will find two HCI Account one for “Test System” and other
for “Production System”. Click on the link which you want to configure or you want to use.
But, remember use Test system first because Test system for configuring the interfaces and
testing, Production system is only for final deployment.
As you can see name is different one for Cloud Platform Integration Test (For Test System)
and other for Cloud Platform Integration Productive (For Production System).
4) Click on Test System, you will find below screen and click on highlighted area

5) After clicking on highlighted area, you will come on below screen. iFLMAP is for runtime,
TMN for Operation Server and third one is Provision is only for SAP use.
6) Click on TMN link and you will find below screen and click on highlighted link you will
redirect to HCI WebUI to download Artifact, configure the artifact, deploy the artifact and
monitor the artifact.

7) You will redirect to below link and screen click on the package for which you want to
integrate. I am clicking for C4C.

8) You will redirect to below screen and click on copy button (link)

9) Now you will redirect to Design Tab (Left side) and you will get your copied packaged here as
highlighted.

10) Now click on your copied package and after that click on Artifacts link and you will see below
screen
11) Filter the artifact as project requirement. There are Actions Tab below artifact table click on
that Icon and you will find below things. You can use Download, Configure and Deploy link
from Action Tab. Download link for download Artifact in your local system, Configure link for
Configuration of Artifact like Channel configuration, mapping configuration, Deploy link for
deploy the Artifact.

12) Click on any Artifact you want to configure and you will see below screen. Here you will able
to configure Artifact. After configuration click on save and deploy.
13) After clicking on Deploy, come to Monitor Tab, where you can find Total deployed Artifact,
Total running Artifact, Failed message, success message etc. This whole Monitoring things.
Now come to Eclipse Part.

After you get the HCI link from SAP do the following step to configure it in Eclipse.

1) Download Eclipse Neon and install it.


2) After open Eclipse go to HELP and click on Install New Software. Below screen will come.
Type https://tools.hana.ondemand.com/neon in Work with Text Box and click on Add.

3) It will show the component which need to install. Select SAP Cloud Platform Tools Check box
and click next and install. See this in below screen
4) After installing the HCI Plugin you go to Windows -> Preferences and select SAP Cloud
Platform Integration and select Operation Server. Here you have to provide URL, which is
Operation Server URL (https://e1457-tmn.hci.ap1.hana.ondemand.com) and User ID and
Password and click on Test Connection and click on OK. below screen will show
5) Now go to Window -> Perspective -> Open Perspective -> Others and select two highlighted
perspectives as below
6) Now you will see two highlighted windows as below where below left corner is Integration
Operation and up left corner is Integration Designer

7) Now you can import downloaded project into Project Explorer (Integration Designer), and
Configure channel, configure mapping configure project and deploy and Monitor from here
also.
Step to import downloaded project in Eclipse project explorer.

Right Click in Project Explorer -> Click on Import -> Click on Import -> Select Existing Projects
into Workspace and Click Next -> Click on Browse and select your downloaded Project ->
Click on Finish. Project will be added in Project Explorer.
8) Monitor screen will see like below. Click on Node explorer – root node and you will see
below screen. As you can see first is Message Monitoring, second is Trace Configuration and
third is Deployed Artifacts. From Deployed Artifacts Tab you can see all deployed artifacts.
From Message Monitoring you can see all success and failed message. From Trace
configuration you can see which component is running or which is stopped.
