II. ADMISSION PROCEDURE


Fill the Registration Form and submit all required documents to our
Admission Officer at the Graduate Campus

Sit for Admission Test

PASS? NO

YES

Collect the Announcement Letter or


check the Announcement via UPH website

Pay the Tuition Fee

Confirm the payment by submitting the transfer receipt to the Finance


Department at Graduate campus

Attend the class briefing/ introduction (if any). The schedule for class briefing
will be announced by the admission office

III. QUALIFICATIONS
For Master Program

1. Bachelor degree (S1) from an accredited state or private university

2. Minimum S1 GPA = 2.50

3. The required study background:

MASTER PROGRAM BACHELOR DEGREE


1. Master of Management : Any Major
2. Master of Communication : Any Major
3. Master of International Relations : Any Major
4. Master of Education : Any Major
5. Master of Civil Engineering : Engineering, Science, Design
6. Master of Law : Any Major*)
7. Master of Notary Public : Law
8. Master of Tourism : Any major*)

*) candidates with Bachelor degree in fields other than Law/ Tourism will be required to join
a matriculation class

For Doctor of Law Program

1. Bachelor degree (S1) and Master degree (S2) from an accredited state or private university

2. Minimum S2 GPA= 3.00

3. Minimum TOEFL Score = 500 from Educational Testing Service / ETS (TOEFL
ITP/IBT/IELTS)

4. Candidate with a Master Degree in Law should take 42 (forty-two) credits in 6 (six) to 10
(ten) semesters

5. Candidate with a Master Degree other than Law should take at least 52 (fifty-two) credits
in 5 (five) to 11 (eleven) semesters

6. Candidate with a Bachelor Degree in Law should take at least 76 (seventy-six) credits in 8
(eight) to 12 (twelve) semesters

7. Candidate with a Bachelor Degree other than Law should take at least 88 (eighty-eight)
credits in 9 (nine) to 13 (thirteen) semesters
IV. REGISTRATION REQUIREMENT

Checklist For Master Program

Applicant Admission The required documents are:
1. 1 (one) legalized copy of Bachelor Degree Certificate (or the equivalent) from an
accredited state or private university
Applicants who have not yet obtained their Bachelor degree certificates, must submit
a statement letter issued by the university which states that he/she already completed
the study. The legalized copy of Bachelor degree certificates should be submitted to
the administration officer at the latest 2 (two) weeks before Mid-Term Test on the
first semester.
2. An overseas graduate must submit a Letter of Degree Equivalency (Penyetaraan Ijazah
Luar Negeri) issued by the Directorate General of Higher Education of the Ministry of
Education (DIRJEN DIKTI DEPDIKNAS)
3. 1 (one) legalized copy of Bachelor Academic Transcript
4. 1 (one) copy of valid ID
5. 1 (one) copy of Birth Certificate
6. 1 (one) Stamp of IDR 6,000 for Admission Statement
7. 4 (four) recent color photographs of 2x3 cm (2 pcs) and 4x6 cm (2 pcs)

Doctoral Program
The required documents are:
1. 2(two) legalized copies of Bachelor Degree Certificate (or the equivalent) from an
accredited state or private university
2. 2 (two) legalized copies of Bachelor Academic Transcript
3. 2 (two) legalized copies of Master Degree Certificate from an accredited state or accredited
private university
4. 2 (two) legalized copies of Master Academic Transcript
5. An overseas graduate must submit a Letter of Degree Equivalency (Penyetaraan Ijazah
Luar Negeri) issued by the Directorate General of Higher Education of the Ministry of
Education (DIRJEN DIKTI DEPDIKNAS)
6. 1 (one) copy of valid ID

8. Curriculum Vitae
9. TOEFL score of > 500 from Educational Testing Service / ETS (TOEFL ITP/IBT/IELTS)
or TOEFL EAT score from UPH Language Center, or you can sit for TOEFL Test at UPH
Graduate Campus

10. Dissertation Proposal


• Content:
1. Tentative Topic of Dissertation
2. Area of law in which research is proposed
3. Brief outline of the Dissertation Proposal
• Dissertation Proposal should be prepared with the following requirement: times new
roman, 12pt, spacing 1,5, A4 size (4-5 pages). It must be submitted at the latest during
the Admission Test.

Foreign Applicants
Must submit:
1. Temporary Residence Permit (KITAS)
2. Study Permit from the Ministry of Education (DEPDIKNAS)
V. ADMISSION TEST

A. TEST MATERIALS

Doctor of Law Dissertation Proposal’s Interview
Notes:
 For UPH alumni, applicants with the same background to the chosen graduate program and
fulfilled the requirement of GPA≥ 2.75 do not need to join the study program test.
 For Public, applicants with the same background to the chosen graduate program and fulfilled
the requirement of GPA≥ 3.00 do not need to join the study program test.
 Study program test is mandatory for applicants of Notary Public and Doctor of Law.

2. TOEFL Prediction Test


The required score for Master Program varies for each major (>400/450/500 minimum score) and
the required score for Doctor Program is > 500. Applicants with TOEFL score (ITP/IBT/IELTS)
from the ETS (Educational Testing Service), or TOEFL EAT score from UPH Language Center,
do not need to join the TOEFL Prediction Test.

B. ADMISSION TEST POLICY


1. Applicants should dress properly and come 30 minutes before the test.
2. Applicants must show their Form Receipt at the registration desk.
3. Applicants must sit according to their seat number, and applicants who are late (less than 30
minutes) will still be allowed to take the test by reporting to the supervisors/secretariat.
4. Applicants must bring their own stationary.
5. During the test, participants cannot:
a. Cheat or cooperate with other applicants.
b. Borrow things from other applicants.
c. Leave their seats without supervisor’s permission.
6. Test will be valid only if it is written on papers provide by UPH.
7. When the time is up, applicants must stop their work and put aside the answer sheet.
8. Applicants who finish their test before time limit may leave the room.
9. Applicants will be considered FAILED if they ignore the policy number 5 to 7.

C. TEST RESULT
The result will be announced by email or can be seen via UPH website as scheduled.
