Introduction (warmer activity + teacher introduction/demonstration of small group activities)

I am going to show the student the alphabet song then I will review the previous letter and I am going
to tell them that today we are going to learn about new letter and its letter “C” after that I am going
to tell them a short story about letter “c” and I will ask them about the story; what was the story
about? Who can tell me the name of the girl? What did she do? After that I am going to show them a
flashcard, then I will write on the board how we write letter “c”
Time: 15 min

I will ask the students to give me words start with letter “c” and I will tell them the sounds of the
letter. After this I will bring some objects start with letter “c” and I will tell them what is this? and the

students will respond.

Active Engagement (group working with the teacher)

I will give the students a worksheet and I will ask them to find letter c and circle it, and after they
finish I will ask them to colour the cupcake and the letter.

Independent Experience (small group activity 1)

Flashcard; I will give each students a flashcard with one clothe pin, and I will ask them to tell me what
is this “pictures on the flashcards” , students will respond and they have to put the clothe pin on the
correct letter.

Independent Experience (small group activity 2)

Letter wheel; I will give each student a letter wheel and five clothe pins, coloured pencil and they
have to put the clothe pin on the picture that start with letter “c’” after they finish I will ask them to
colour them and to write letter “c”.

Independent Experience (small group activity 3)

Cork board; I will give each student a cork board with rubber and I will ask them to make letter “c”
