RESEARCH METHODOLOGY

Meaning

Research methodology is a systematic way to solve the research problem. It may be


understand as a science of studying how research is done scientifically. It is necessary for
the researcher to know not only the techniques but also the methodology.

RESEARCH DESIGN

DEFINITION

A research design is the arrangement of conditions for collection and analysis of data
in a manner that aims to combine relevance to the research purpose with economic in procedure.

RESEARCH TYPE

Descriptive Research

Descriptive Research Design is a fact finding investigation with adequate


interpretation, to describe events, phenomenon and situations. It is the simplest type of research
and it focus on particular aspects or dimensions of the problem studied. It is to gather descriptive
information and provides information for formulating more sophisticated studies.

PRIMARY DATA

Primary data is known as the data collected for the first time through field survey.
This is needed in research to study the effect of job satisfaction . The primary data used in this
project are questionnaire, in the form of census

FINDINGS

 97.80% of respondents are male.

 Most of the respondents education qualification showing higher


secondary.

 32.97% of the respondents education qualification showing higher


secondary.

 Majority of them are under technical job.

 54.95 % of respondents earns 11000 to 20000 as their monthly salary.

• Majority of respondents have 0 to 5 years of experience.

 Due to good working conditions provided by company there is no problem


faced by employee while working .

 There is no problem like non promotion , less salary , no benefits faced by


employees

 Level of work relations between superior and co workers in company are


moreeffective one, because they keeps on communicating each other if
needed

 Majority of respondents are satisfied with opportunity to utilize the skills


in the job.

 There is no stress in job because the company provide benefits and satisfy
employee basic needs

 86.81of respondents has responded not to resign their job.

 49.45% of the respondents are satisfied with the reasonable balance


between the family life and the work life.

 As a employee in best and Crompton all the employees are highly satisfied

SUGGESTIONS

 Amount of paid vacation time/sick leave offered should be increased .

 Location of work should be good.

 Benefits should be given more

 Recognition of work accomplished should be rewarded

 There should be good work relation between superior and sub ordinates.

 Training should be given when needed
