Patrick Election Night Statement
HOUSTON, TX – “It has been a long election night in Texas, but the conservative majority has once again chosen statewide leaders who are committed to making sure that Texas remains the job creator for the nation and an economic engine for the world. As I have said throughout this campaign, Texans do not want to turn our state into California — we don’t want open borders, more abortion and higher taxes. We lost some great senators tonight — Konni Burton and Don Huffines, but we gained three new strong conservative senators, Angela Paxton, Pat Fallon and Pete Flores. I am anxious to get back to work for for the people of Texas and I am thankful and humbled by their support.”
