Portfolio Output No. 25: Career Wheel
1. How did you go about naming events, situations, needs and facts about yourself? Were there challenges in doing
this? If so, what are these challenges?
 I actually fill up the career wheel with all of my influences in life in pursuing my career which are related to the
given words. The only challenge that I encounter while doing this activity is reflecting in myself about my career
and how it is influence by the people around me, my environment and past experiences.
2. Looking at these many facets in your life, which among them do you think are major considerations when
deciding on future career options? Why? Would you consider these as source of great impact?
 I think that skills and abilities, my personality and interest as well as the culture that I’ve grown in will be my
major consideration as I choose my career for the future. These three reflects on the whole assessment of an
individual when choosing a career for the lifetime because these three will be the resources as I move forward
into the journey of career. Of course, this will put a great impact on me as an aspirant for this will be my basis
for me to continue the journey or turn into another direction.
3. Which are the areas that will really work to your advantage in relation to the career options that you are
considering? How will these impact your choices?
 Dexterity or my skills as well as my interest will be my advantage relevant to my career since it is line with what
I want to be in the future. Working in your interest career will be very hard yet it will be fulfilling for someone
who really loves what she/he is doing. These will create a big impact for my career choices as it will ease up the
pursuance of my dream because I like it and I envision myself in accordance to my plan.
4. What are your realizations after this exercise?
 I realized that there are really a lot of factors that have influenced my choice and it is really necessary to reflect
on what really drives you toward your dream, whether it is you family, your skills and interest or the culture
that you belong. Career is a lifetime commitment thus evaluating factors influencing career choice is integral
in life.
