PERSONAL STATEMENT:
I’m a first year Business Level 3 student currently at college, with an interest in Business. I like problem solving and
finding out different ways businesses work along with the industry as a whole.

SKILLS:
● Timekeeping and punctuality.
● Experience in using technical equipment and different computer programmes such as Microsoft Word,
Powerpoint, Excel. Google Apps such as Sheets, Docs and slides and I am good at sending emails.
● Teamwork - work well with others. A good example of this is the teamwork we do on a regular basis on our
BTEC course where we have to work in small groups, on different projects and then present them to the rest
of the group as well as our tutors.
● Motivated for success.
● Good at communication. I have many examples of this from when I present my work/presentations to the
group.

MARCH 2016 - APRIL 2016
● Work experience for one week in March 2016. I was assisting and working in various different departments
of the company, and taking responsibilities such as answering the telephone and generally helping out on the
computer by doing graphic work and other office tasks as needed.

September 2017 - Current, Saltaire.
● GCSE English - Ongoing.
● Studying a Level 3 BTEC Extended Diploma in Business Studies.
● Within the current work that I am doing in terms of assignments on the course, I am constantly receiving
distinctions and look forward to learning more on the second year of the course.

HOBBIES AND INTERESTS:


I enjoy playing video games and I believe that this gives me a wide range of skills such as teamwork, communication
skills, multitasking and problem solving as is often needed when playing multiplayer video games with others.

Another one of my interests is that I am a massive fan of motorsports, particularly Formula 1 and have grown up
watching it since I was young.

I also go to the gym multiple times a week to try and stay healthy and in shape.
