1. Choose and describe an aspect from a teaching competency that you need to work on (Goal)
My aims for this semester is to use differentiation - Good time management
during the classroom lesson and activities.
2. Describe what you will do to help achieve your goal (Strategies Used)
The strategies that I can use to achieve my goals: for the differentiation is to have
3 types of activities (low-medium- high) while to manage the time I could use
timer.
3. Describe how you can tell if you’re achieving your goal (Evidence)
The children for each level can solve the activity that I give him\her in enough
time and in the right way - spend enough time for each section as I planned.

Introduction (warmer activity + teacher introduction/demonstration of small group activities)

-Before start the lesson I will do the daily routine (sing the national anthem, change the date and day ,
ask the students some questions as a review for the sounds and take attendance).

Start the lesson with a video about (story about the animals and where they live) then explain the
story again with using some questions: what are the animals that you have seen in the video? Where

Independent Experience (small group activity 1)

In this activity the student will have a wheel when he\she move the wheel they
should stop when they see the appropriate habitat for the animal that is in the picture.

Independent Experience (small group activity 2)

Matching activity: in this activity the student will get different cards and he\she will
match the animal that are in the pictures with the habitat that they live in. For
example: match the camel picture with the desert picture…etc.

Colour and stick: in this activity the students will work together , I will give each student 5
different pictures of different animals and they have to colour them after they finish they have a big

The closing is having a quick review about the lesson by ask the students different questions:

- Give them a name of an animal and ask them where does this animal live?
