TAR UC JINBODHI BURSARY

TAR UC JINBODHI Bursary is established to provide bursary to underprivileged students to further their
studies in TAR UC.

Eligibility:
1. Must be a Malaysian citizen.
2. Students who obtained admission to TAR UC for full time diploma or degree programmes with at
least one more year of studies before completing the current programme of studies.
3. Be from a household who earns a combined income of not more than RM5,000 per month.

Value of the Award:


Full fees charged for the programme of studies (up to max RM10,000 per annum, up to a max of RM30,000
per recipient for the full programme of study).

Terms and Conditions:


1. Successful applicant has to sign an acceptance letter and agree to abide by the terms and conditions as set
therein.
2. The bursary recipient’s eligibility will be reviewed on an annual basis and any extensions for a successive
year will be granted at the absolute discretion of TAR UC and subject to the recipient’s satisfactory
performance and conduct.
3. During the course of study, the recipient is not allowed to receive any scholarship, bursary, award of a
monetary nature without prior written consent of TAR UC.
4. The recipient is required to maintain a CGPA of 2.7500 every semester.
5. The bursary will be disbursed through the Bursary of TAR UC.
6. The bursary is not transferable or exchangeable for cash.
7. Upon graduation thereof, the recipient may be offered an employment under Bodhi Meditation Malaysia
Berhad or any of its appointed organizations SUBJECT ALWAYS to the availability of a suitable
vacancy relevant to the recipient course of study. Acceptance of the employment offer shall be at the
recipient sole discretion at the time of offer. The recipient‘s rejection of the offer shall not in any way
affect the bursary granted herein. Nothing in this clause shall be deemed and/or construed as an obligation
on the part of Bodhi Meditation Malaysia Berhad or any of its appointed organizations to procure and/or
secure employment for the recipient.
8. The recipient is required to involve in at least one (1) Bodhi Meditation Malaysia Berhad‘s event per
year provided always this shall not jeopardise with the recipient’s studies.

Application Procedures:
1. Application must be made on prescribed application form which can be downloaded from TAR UC
website (Financial Aid section).
2. All completed forms with the required supporting documents must be submitted to TAR UC Department
of Student Affairs at Main Campus or to the Student Affairs Office at the Branch Campuses on or before
31 October 2018 (Wednesday).
3. Only shortlisted applicants will be required to attend an interview.
4. TAR UC will notify the applicants regarding details of the interview via email and/or phone calls. The
onus is on the applicant to check and confirm with TAR UC Department of Student Affairs regarding the
details of the interview session.
5. Late submission and/or incomplete application forms will NOT be considered.
6. Only successful applicants will be notified.

Affairs at Main Campus or to the Student Affairs Office at the Branch Campuses on or before 31 October 2018.
Incomplete applications will be disqualified.
