Company(STC)
Trading companies with extensive know-how in exports are recognized as “Specialist
trading company(STC)”(K O R E A ’ s 2 5 0 S T C a r e a c ti v e i n a b o u t 1 0 0 c o u n t ri e s )
Their role is to support SMEs that have yet to acquire such capabilities
- A STC serves as an export agent for and an advisor to an SME.
- It purchases and exports the SME’s products on its behalf and provides guidance regarding
business
