Three-plate method
There are 3 main ways of wiring Light circuits
1. Three-plate ceiling rose method
2. Joint or Junction Box
3. Loop-in (Conduit/trunking)
Loop-in Method
The loop-in method using conduit / trunking is the
easiest method, because we can use single core cables.
We must make sure we supply the switches with the line
(live) and provide a neutral to the lamps it is very
important not to mix this up.
a twin and earth cable is run around
all the lamp fittings in a radial circuit.
