SAFER
No Chemicals
EcoPower engine wash service is a safe,
environmentally responsible solution. There are
no toxic chemicals or detergents used in the
process, only pure atomized water. The EcoPower
service removes the cost of capital investment for
wash equipment, additional staff, hazardous
chemical storage, as well as waste reclamation and
disposal services.
Washing with only water, there are no detrimental
chemical reactions to gas-path coatings and sealants.
This is particularly important for hot section
components such as combustors and turbine airfoils
that are coated with expensive thermal-barrier and
corrosion-resistant coatings. In addition, technicians
are protected from harmful chemical exposure.
CLEANER
More Effective, Closed-loop
Our patented EcoPower system atomizes water from
a nozzle manifold that installs easily on the engine inlet.
No tools are needed. The specially designed nozzles
deliver a fine mist that penetrates deeper into the
engine core, wetting and cleaning all surfaces.
Conventional wash methods are substantially less
effective because larger, heavier water particles are
centrifuged outward, not thoroughly cleaning the inner
surfaces of the critical gas-path components. The
patented EcoPower process ensures a more uniform,
complete wetting and cleaning of critical core gas-path
surfaces for greater overall cleaning effectiveness–as
much as 50% better EGT margin and fuel burn
improvement than conventional wash methods.
An important environmental benefit is that the
EcoPower process is entirely closed-loop. All of the
effluent is collected within the patented wash system
and the water is purified so that it can be reused for
subsequent washes. The EcoPower wash system is
approved to operate at airports around the world.

and less disassembly. EcoPower equipment can be
