Description:

This project is for a large pharmaceutical company in UK. The primary objective of this project is to
develop the OBIEE reports for GSK reporting requirement. Pharma Analytics is an application that
provides data and reports on certain aspects of the conduct of clinical trials. The clinical trials are
conducted to test a new drug or device on human subjects. It is conducted as part of a program to
demonstrate that the drug/device is safe and effective, in order to gain approval from a regulatory agency
to market it. The following various entities are analyzed in the reporting system: Protocol, Site, Subjects,
Account, Contact, Milestone & Drivers, and payments.

Responsibilities:
 Created ODI packages, scenarios using mappings, variables, procedure.
 Used ODI commands like ODIFile_Move, odiFileAppend, odiFilecopy etc.
 Optimized the knowledge modules to improve the functionality of the process.
 Created/modified Metadata repository (Rpd) by using Administration Tool: Physical, Business
Model and Mapping and Presentation Layers.
 Created connection pools, imported the physical tables and then creating aliases, defined joins

 Created/modified Metadata repository (.rpd) by using Administration Tool: Physical, Business

Model and Mapping and Presentation Layers.
 Created Dimensional Hierarchies for the Drill Down functionality and implemented Business
Logics and metrics.
 Created Initialization Blocks and Variables using Administration Tool in OBIEE to streamline
administrative task and modify metadata content dynamically.
