implement a smart refrigerator system, which is economically and easy to use
system.

Through wireless system it is capable of sending an alert message to the user

immediately when the items in the refrigerator goes below the threshold value, in
order to refill the food items before it gets over. The proposed system consists of
various sensors available. Load cell sensors are placed alongside with a counter
which can be used to sense the number of vegetables inside the refrigerator
which has a threshold of 200gm approximately. With the help of odour sensor we
can detect the spoiled vegetables in order to replace them easily.

Aim The proposed design aims to implement a smart refrigerator system, which
is easy to use and economical for the user. Objective The objective of this system
is to propose a concept of IoT based intelligent refrigerator which not only
weights the content present in the refrigerator but also sends alert message
when the content reaches a certain specified threshold level. 1.3

Problem statement It is capable of notifying it owner about the activities going

on inside the refrigerator via wireless system on the mobile phones. Load cell
sensors are placed below the containers which can be used to sense the weight
of vegetables inside the refrigerator which has a threshold of 200gm
approximately. Whenever the food items kept in the refrigerator goes below the
present value then it generates an alert which is being transmitted in the form of
message to the user. Chapter 2 Literature Survey Table 2.1: Literature Survey Title

in the refrigerator also the level of milk and softdrinks are detected through this.
2.

With the help of pressure sensors we can sense the presence of vegetables inside
the refrigerator which have a threshold of 500gm approximately 3. Whenever the
contents inside the refrigerator goes below the set threshold it generate a trigger
and the message is send to the user. 1. This system deals with the content
present in the storage bottle 2.

Whenever the content in the storage bottles gets low, we get notification and we
can immediately place an order for that particular contents. 3. According to the
weather conditions, this system gives us the idea about temperature present
inside the bottles so that protecting the contents according to the weather
condition. 4. Temperature can be maintain for different content as per its
requirement. 1.

Perishable food items (Particular fruits or vegetables) kept in block first. 2. If

vegetable is below from threshold value (200gm) then send the notification on
the android app and also press the switch button then start the timer. 3. After
some time it will send the notification on the app showing expiry of food items.
