During an Earthquake
1. If the earthquake happens while travelling, what will be our initial
response?
Most of the respondents, know how to perform duck, cover, and
hold position.
2. If the earthquake happens while at home, what will be our initial
response?
Most the respondents, response was to go out of the house.
3. If the earthquake happens at home, how to we proceed with the
evacuations?
Most the respondents answered, if the transportation if still
available, they will use it. If it is no longer available, they will walk to
get to the area.
4. If the earthquake happens while travelling, where do we meet?
Most the respondents answered, that they meet to the approved
designated areas of their cities.
5. If someone in the family or, those who lives with us gets injured,
what should be our initial response?
Most the respondents answered that they will initially perform
first aid.
6. If we are trapped inside the house, what do we do?
Most the respondents answered that they will pray, and will use
their flashlights as signals that they are trapped.
7. If the designated evacuation is damaged, where is the alternative
place?
Most the respondents answered is to find a safer place or
churches.
8. If the communication is down, how long are we going to wait for
each other at the designated meeting place?
Most the respondents answered that they will wait for 20
minutes to 1 hour.
