Comments on the FIC Inspection & Testing Plan

1 – ITP shall be classified to Main Activities and Sub Activities such as Earthwork, Concrete Work, Grout, Buildings…
etc.; Earthwork includes clearing, grubbing, excavation, backfilling, compaction… etc., and so on for Concrete Work
and the others activities.

2 – In the inspection requirements field: add Wood to Emil

3 – In the inspection requirements field of Emil/Wood: add a column for the Construction

4 – Add the MC scope for the MC requirements & MC check sheets to the ITP.

5 – Survey: add to the Acceptance Criteria Field the required specs (PIP CVS02005- Topographic and Plant Surveys
Specification)

6 – Survey: 2.1: add the word "checking" to the testing activity "Coordinates…"

7 – Survey: add two items:

A – "Review and file completed survey notes prepared by the contractor" this is the construction inspection
requirements (H/S).

B – "Perform periodic surveillance on survey activities and documentation", this is the Quality inspection
requirements (H/S).

8 – Excavation: Add soil inspection check-list to be included in the verifying document field (F0101Q).

9 – Excavation: Add item for checking the required depth of excavation per IFC.

10 – Excavation: Add item for inspecting excavations soil for unstable & unsuitable soils (Lab test report).

11 – Site Leveling & Backfilling: Compaction: 5.3: Remove the comments, it's included in the specs; add the forms
(F70101Q) & (F70102Q) to the verifying document field for the same item.

12 – Site Leveling & Backfilling: Compaction: 5.3: Procedure Reference Field shall include 000 509 7010

13 – Add the following items to the earthwork section:

A – " Monitor in-process soils work, including cut and fill elevations, spoil and fill material, compaction methods
and equipment", Construction/Hold, QC/Surveillance.

B – "Perform formal audit of Soils Testing Laboratory", QC Witness.

C – "Monitor Soil Testing Laboratory activities for soils testing frequency, test identification and completeness",
QC/Witness.

14 – Formwork: 6.0: Add "Shape, stability, embedded items, molding of chamfer strips, cleanliness, and vapor
barrier"

15 – Concrete works: Add & change as required

A – Following up the review and approval for mix designs.

B – Audit Batching Plant, operating and calibration certification are available and current.

C – Perform formal audit of Concrete Testing Laboratory.

D – Testing the row materials shall be in one field not separated fields.
E – Pre-pouring inspection with checklists shall be in one field not separated fields. "Pre-pouring Inspection
including formwork, reinforcing steel and impediments & inserts prior to concrete placement"

F – Pouring inspection with checklists shall be in one field.

G – Add item "Conduct concrete testing at the point of placement, temperature, slump test, set of cubes
specimen"

H – Post-pouring inspection including curing, honeycombing and defects.

I – Concrete coating inspection, follow up coating material datasheet approval, number of layers

J – Monitoring &Verify third party laboratory test for material (sand, aggregate, Cement, Water and reinforcement
steel), with providing the COMPANY with Admixtures data sheet

16 – Grout Material: 10.1: Change the activity to "Following up the review and approval for grout materials"

17 – Grouting of steel Structure & Equipment Base Plate: 10.0: Add & change as required:

A – "Monitor the Contractor's quality control activities to verify conformance to placement procedures and
documentation requirement."

B – "Pre-pouring grout inspection including datasheet requirements: base preparation, materials, and forming."

C – "Placing (pouring) grout"

D – Add item "Conducting grout testing at site including mix temperature & compressive strength cubes"

E – Post placing including curing per manufacturer datasheet & voids test.

E – Witness grout testing by Contractor at laboratory.

F – Compressive strength – Cubes Sample: 10.3: Remove the comments; they are included in the specs

18 – Roads: Add & change as required:

A – Following up the review & approval for mix designs.

B – Audit Batching Plant, operating and calibration certification are available and current

C – Perform formal audit using Asphalt Test Laboratory Evaluation Record.

D – Testing the base & sub-base materials.

E – Testing the asphalt raw materials: bitumen material, coarse aggregate, fine aggregate, and filler.

F – Add the asphalt quality check-sheets to the ITP.

G – Monitor in-process the asphalt construction & quality control activities to verify conformance to requirements
including mixing the asphaltic materials.

H – Survey and setting out per IFC.

I – Clearing & grubbing: acceptance.

J – Sub-grade Acceptance: preparing, compacting and compaction testing.

K – Sub-base & Base Courses Acceptance: Testing fill materials, placing, compaction, and compaction test.
L – Prime Coat: acceptance of material, applying of prime coat, curing before applying the binder course.

M – Binder Course (Asphalt): Checking testing reports, placement, mix temperature, Sampling of asphalt mix during
placing for mix analysis, compacting & rolling, compaction & thickness tests.

N – Tack Coat: acceptance of material, applying of tack coat, curing before applying the wearing course.

O – Wearing Course (Asphalt): Checking testing reports, placement, mix temperature, Sampling of asphalt mix
during placing for mix analysis, compacting & rolling, compaction & thickness tests.

19 – Fencing: Add & change as required:

A – Material verification in accordance with design & specifications (IQWQ-FT-NSPDS-00-777714)

B – Survey and setting out & alignment per IFC drawing.

C – Excavation for the foundation of the fence posts, dimensions, depth & width / radius per IFC drawing.

D – Concrete – Correct Mix Design, Pre pour & Pouring, Sampling and testing, Curing, Compressive strength test.

E – Fence & Gates Installation: Posts installation, horizontal alignment, verticality check, embedment, level,
straining wire / barbed wire, installing chain-link fabric, mesh ties, alignment level, razor wire, and installing Gates.

F – Fence & Gates grounding per project requirements.

20 – Buildings: Is a main activity includes the following sub activities inspection (Masonry works, plastering,
plumbing, ceramic tiles, drywall, computer raised floor, doors & windows & hardware & glazing, carpentry, painting,
building metal siding & roofing, and suspended ceiling)

A – Follow procedure 000 509 7300 from IQWQ-FT-QPQAC-00-0001_0 Construction Site Quality Manual.

B – Verify use correct material for each sub activity procedure 000 509 7300.

C – Inspection required per procedure 000 509 7300.

D – Ascertain workmanship required per procedure 000 509 7300.

NOTE:
1 – Contractor shall arrange Mechanical ITP includes Structural Steel Fabrication, Structural Erection & Field Welding,
Fabrication Release… etc.

2 – Contractor shall arrange Electrical & HVAC ITPs.
