Planned, taught, and led school-wide Model UN Global Classrooms curriculum. Provided differentiated English language support to over 300 students (ages 11-17) through small-group pullout instruction.

Network Assessment Coordinator – 2014-15

Managed logistics, timelines, technological readiness, and vendor contracts for all assessment initiatives for a network of high-performing charter schools in Minneapolis, MN. Led team of 10 teachers in the development of quarterly Interim Assessments across 9 grade levels and 5 content areas. Wrote over 40 Interim Assessments aligned to Common Core and Minnesota state standards. Planned and led professional development sessions on best practices in data analysis and assessment writing.

Teach for America / Kingsbury Middle School

Middle School ESL Teacher – 2012-14

Selected from over 40,000 applicants nationwide to join a teacher corps comprised of leaders who commit to teach for two years in high-poverty public schools. Taught English Language Arts and U.S. History to 90 English Language Learners in Memphis, TN. Created formative and summative assessments for 6 th grade ELA team. Led professional development workshops on teaching strategies and differentiation for ELLs.
