• Teaching approach: The lesson is based on the Natural Approach, and organized
through the PPP procedure (Harmer,2010).
• Assessment: what will be assessed and how: I’ll check that students comprehend
and identify the different prepositions. At the end of the lesson they have to stick dogs
in-on-under.
Routine: 5’
Purpose: to start the lesson, get students into the mood for work, establish rapport.
I’ll get into the classroom and greet students: “Hello! How are you today?” EA: “Hello!”
I’ll ask students to sit in a circle on the floor and we’ll sing the usual welcome song:
We will play with the preposition dice of the previous class. They liked this game.
Children have to recognize the action and do the same action. If the dice falls UNDER
they have to put themselves UNDER the tables or the chairs, the same with the
prepositions ON and IN. We can use a Hula hoops in order to go IN.

Then we will play with a pencil and a book. We will sing the song .I´ll ask them Where is it?

I´ll ask some volunteers to put the pencil on- under- in the book, and the rest has to guess the
preposition.
Closure 10 min-:
The students will work on the tables or on the floor. I will give them little dogs and
they have to stick them in-on-under
Then “Oh, no! Look at the time” (pointing to the clock on the wall). It’s time to say
goodbye!Let’s sing the good bye song:
This is the way we say bye bye, say bye bye to you”

Students will play with a dice. The dice is made of different colour shapes. They
have to say in loud voice what colour and what figure it is.
For example:
-Red triangle
-Yellow oval
-Green square
