3. Reading of the story


Before we are going to read the story what
are the things that we need to do when
reading a story silently? Sit properly
What else? We need to read with our eyes and not with
our mouths
And lastly We need to understand what we are reading

You are now ready!


Let us now read the story silently

Mother is getting ready for the birthday of


her pretty little daughter, Sonia. She will buy
Sonia a new yellow dress and will bake two
big round brown cakes. Sonia’s mother will
also prepare five delicious dishes for visitors,
classmates and friends. During the party, Reading the story silently
Mother felt sad because Sonia’s visitors and
friends just put their dirty red dishes and
threw their sticky little candy wrappers
anywhere in the house. Mother then realized
she have a lot of cleaning to do after the
party.

of adjectives let us have a group activity.
Each group should have a leader, a
