Key Management
Mr. Pankaj Dinodia is the Chief Executive Officer of Dinodia Capital Advisors and
leads an accomplished team of 8 MBA and Chartered Accountants at the firm. He is
also a Director at S.R Dinodia & Co, a leading Chartered Accountancy firm, where he
runs the Financial Advisory Services practice
He started his career at Goldman, Sachs & Co. in New York in the Investment
Banking division, working on M&A and capital-raising transactions for clients in the
Financial Institutions space (FIG). Some of the marquee transactions he worked on
include a $10 billion spin-off, $1.7 billion bridge-loan financing and $1.5 billion debt
IPO for Ameriprise Financial, an $840 million private-equity and private-debt
placement in Flatiron Re (side-car vehicle for Arch Reinsurance), a $2.9 billion sale
of AmerUS to Aviva and a $1.8 billion sale of eFunds to Fidelity National. While at
Goldman, Sachs and Co. in New York he was also a founding member of the FIG
Principalling group
He later moved to India and set up Goldman's Private Equity business (Principal
Investment Area) in Mumbai. He was involved in the execution of numerous
investments including Mahindra & Mahindra ($175 million), Sudhir Gensets ($50
million) and TVS Logistics ($25 million). In addition to making and monitoring these
investments, he sat as a Board observer and was also involved with the growth and
streamlining of several portfolio companies
