2018 Thanksgiving Edition

Count Your Blessings, Name Them One by One
Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with

I have seen God answer a prayer: I have seen God answer a prayer: I have seen God answer a prayer: I have seen God answer a prayer:

God answered my prayer be-
cause I wanted to get saved. I was
lost in sin. I received Jesus as my
Saviour.
I have seen God be my Comforter:
I slipped and fell, and busted my
chin. They gave me five stitches,
but God comforted me.
I have seen God be my Protector:
God protected me when I got
my tetanus shots. It was quick and
not too painful.
I have seen God be my Provider:
God provided me a Hot Wheels
car (it was a Queen and a Rook
car). Mom was surprised that I got
it before Christmas.
I have seen God be my Forgiver:
God forgave me when I asked
Jesus to save me. He took away
my sins.
I have seen God working in my
Family:
God worked in my family be-
cause Dad does a lot of traveling
but God protected him.

God answered my prayer by
helping me with school. I am doing
good in math; it is one of my
greatest improvements this year.
I have seen God be my Refuge:
God protected us from many
storms and floods. We had many
different storms, and our electrici-
ty even went out a few times. But
God was our refuge.
I have seen God be my Protector:
God protected us since this year
we have had no tricycle and car
accidents. Our taxi got pulled over
once but thankfully there was no
accident.
I have seen God be my Great Phy-
sician:
God helped me when both of my
front teeth needed to get pulled.
God healed me up quickly so that I
could eat normally again.
I have seen God working in my
Church Family:
God worked in our church family
because He brought more people
to our mission-work in Tuktukan.
We have seen many souls saved,
and folks baptized.
God directly answered my pray-
er when I prayed for my parents
to be able to visit. And He also
answered a prayer when Hannah
got saved.
I have seen God be my Comforter:
During a hard time earlier this
year, God comforted me through
listening to sermons online. What
a blessing that was to me!
I have seen God be my Strength:
He has been my strength in my
every day life. The busyness can
be wearisome but the Lord contin-
ues to strengthen me.
I have seen God be my Provider:
He provided good friends for me
and also He provided helpers for
our children’s Sunday School min-
istries. I am learning and retaining
a lot of Tagalog.
I have seen God working in my
Family:
Back in May, after a day of VBS, I
had the joy of leading Joe to the
Lord. God is working in our chil-
dren through school. They have a
great desire to learn and are im-
proving & growing.
God’s answers are always wiser
than our prayer requests. He an-
swered my prayers for an increase
in guests and visitors to visit us
during our regular services. He
also answered by opening up
many opportunities to speak to
people about the gospel.
I have seen God be the Lifter Up
of my Head:
Sometimes working with people
can be discouraging. But when
they respond either through the
preaching of God’s Word or per-
sonal counsel, I can see that it is
God who works in people’s hearts.
I have seen God be my Provider:
God has blessed us over and
over, not only through faithful
support, but also through special
offerings. God knows what we
need and He is faithful to supply
all of our needs according to His
riches in Christ Jesus. We thank
you and we bless and praise God!
I have seen God working in my
Family:
Ministries hinges on families. I
thank God for a good wife. I thank
God that my boys are saved. God
is good.
