Kanawha County Prosecuting Attorney Charles T. Miller announced that the Kanawha County
Grand Jury handed down indictments on November 16, 2018, against ninety-three (93) defendants.
Further, pursuant to Rule 3.6(b) (6) of the West Virginia Rules of Professional Conduct governing
attorneys, the fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation. The defendant is
presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
