At our Club Forum last Thursday night John Sime gave us an THURSDAY 22 NOVEMBER

reported on the recent visit to Sabu by three of our members

Black Rock Sports Auxiliary for Sandringham Hospital moved to

Peter Flude picks up the challenge of reinstatement
Meetings take place with Mayor, past and present Councillors, Roy-
al Melbourne Golf Club and Black Rock Sports Auxiliary
BRSA concerned about attendance levels due to moving to Monday
from Saturday
RMGC and Bayside Council very supportive of us merging our day
with BRSA.
Heads of Agreement signed
BRSA happy to have us on board to support the day and be part of
the organisational committee
RMGC happy to be part of that committee
RMGC now do not charge us green fees.
The Day
New format, West with two shot gun starts and East with rolling
start
Food supplied for West Course players. East buy your own
Players enjoyed having the two options
Over 400 players, a sell-out. (Oversubscribed)
$180.00 to play East Course and $280.00 for West
A very big day that would not have worked without the help of vol-
unteers
Volunteers
Over 50, Parking, Registrationx2, Fund Raising Holesx2, Starters,
Results, Prizes, Photographers, Ball Spotters, Logistics, Course
Marshalls, Sponsors and VIP’s.
A great day that ran very smoothly
Compliments received from Players, Sponsors, VIP’s and RMGC
Areas of improvement identified and documented for next year
Use of Funds
$10000.00 to Sandringham Hospital
Balance has been budgeted to be spread over all projects.
