ABSTRACT: Transportation system is one of the factors that greatly contribute in the economic growth of
every country. Transportation system must vary alongside with economy, hand in hand, to sustain the
constant growth progress. Therefore, the need for development and improvement must rigorously be done
overtime. This study focuses on analysing the traffic congestion deterrents at Recto Avenue to Legarda
Street in Manila including propose solutions on various complications notice by the surveyor and or
researchers. The main purpose of this study is to give solutions to the advancement of the performance of
road intersection with accordance to improvements of contributing traffic control system like traffic
signals, roads, pedestrian and such. The researcher’s goal is to synchronize and collaborate the factors of
the road system which includes the driver, the road/environment and vehicle together with suggested
improvements of traffic control system that currently taking effect in the said area.
