Instructions to Candidates

1. This Exam paper, which is printed over 19 pages in total, consists of:

• Part A: 20 Multiple Choice Questions (20 marks – 1 mark per question)

• Part B: Two Programming Questions (20 marks – 10 marks per question)

• Part C: Four Theoretical Questions (60 marks – 15 marks per question)

2. Total marks for the Exam is 100.

3. Write your ID NUMBER and DESK NUMBER in the box at the bottom of the previous page.

4. This paper MUST BE RETURNED before exiting the examination hall.


Part A: Multiple Choice Questions (20 marks total)



Instructions:
1. Each question has only one correct answer within its listed choices. Therefore your answer
to each question can only be a single letter for the choice. No penalty marks are applied to
the wrong answers. Ambiguous responses will be ignored.
2. Use Solution Table on NEXT PAGE (page 3) of this paper to answer Part A.
3. Incorrect filling of the Solution Table or altering the Table’s row/column order will lead
to marks not being correctly assigned. You should also study the following example
carefully before completing the Table.
